Lee's car accident
So I was playing season one again. After the car accident Lee wakes up what I thought was maybe an hour(estimated) later. After he and Clementine get to the drug store in some dialogue with some other characters (think it was Lily), Lee says that Clem had been surviving for DAYS on her own. Clementine also said that she headed Sandra scream a couple of nights ago. I thought the outbreak started while Lee was driving out of Alanta. It was all least getting worse at that time. So what do you guys think,was Lee out for a couple days?

No, Lee was out for just a few hours. The cop would have reanimated and walked off if Lee was out for days.
I think the "Day 1" concept is just where society starts to collapse. The infection was probably iching along until this point of no return.
He makes a comment about being thirsty, which i think is supposed to indicate that he had been out for quite a while.
Afterall, if you've been passed out for a couple of days that will probably be the first thing on your mind.
Same with Rick waking up in the hospital. First thing he does is look for a faucet. (if my memory hasn't failed me)
Lee was out for a couple hours and I think Clementine had been surviving for two days or so. Hmm not sure I guess the outbreak was small at first so news didn't spread as quickly and since it's not as populated where Clem lives it didn't spread to the city's until later on when people were trying to get out.
I think its at least 1 day or more. If you look at the setting while in car you can see that its early morning or day. When you wake up in the car its still day. So if he was out for just few hours it should be already dark. I think the police guy died trying to get help but was too injured and didn't make it. It is a question that also arised on my second play trough.
I think it was two days. I know you usually can't survive more than 3 days without water... Maybe the cop was passed out for about an hour longer than Lee, and when he stepped out, the lurking zombies nabbed him.
I think it was just a few hours. The dead had probably been coming back for two or three days already, and Lee and Officer Loudmouth left just as the infection was hitting the actual city.
If you choose to go during the day then the officer never shows up on time and if you choose to go at night then shawn's friend Chet dies. I started playing the game over again and I chose the night route and during episode 2 after Lee gets out of the barn and Carley shows up in the cornfield you see a walker that looked like officer Mitchell I'm not sure if it was him but it had the same clothes and everything going to replay it again to make sure.
I was talking about the police officer in the car not that guy. You managed to completely miss my point.
