The Real Life Marsh house.
Thought this would be cool for people to see. Here is the Marshall house, this is what The marsh house in the walking dead was inspired of, its a few minutes walk from Savannah river and it is the oldest hotel in Savannah.

Daammmnnnnn it looks Pretty!
And to think Lee was once chopping up walkers on that same street..On a different note you can see it has the same flag on top in both pictures and the same structure.
Nice find
Wow! where did you fin.......oh, right...Savannah
holy shit god damn it
Larry? Is that you?
The bridge too
Closest pic I can find.
^Cool.
This is actually really neat.
Now, see if you can find the St. John dairy farm...
Really cool that TWD makes buildings inspired in real life landmarks. I kinda want to live in Savannah now...
Awesome. I was just wondering about this the other day.
That's cool. The art in the game is pretty realistic compared to the real pics.
Great find, I was wondering how TWD Savannah was compared to the real landmarks there.
Search for Kenny in real life!!
Really? Because if there's something TWD and L4D2 taught me it's that it's the last place I'd ever want to be.
Cool. Is it true that the game's Macon is very far off from real Macon?
I'm off to find LEE
When did Savannah appear in L4D2?
I'd been to Macon a couple times years ago and while I don't see anything in the game that seemed particularly "Macon-y" nor seemed out of place, we don't really see enough of it in game. Besides, Savannah is much more distinct than Macon, anyway.
I'm sure they have really tasty deserts.
the first map "Dead Center" is in Savannah.
Alright. I'll have to take your word for it. Being from Sweden I don't really know how any part of Georgia looks!
Savannah cathedral of St. John the baptist
Savannah skyline
The exactly same train
Was the street layout near the Crawford barrier the same? I'd love to see what else is similar in-game
I wonder if Crawford is a real school
Crawford is a real place. Not a school though.
Crawford was built in the year 1841 in honor of William Harris Crawford, the Secretary of the Treasury who ran for president in 1842. When Jim Crow laws were put into effect, it was the only square in Savannah that allowed African Americans in it. It was the smallest square in Savannah. It contained playgrounds, basketball courts, a gazebo and other facilities
From wikipedia.
Yep, there were trolley tracks on that street just like the game. In the game, I noticed the street name, so I Googled "East River Street, Savannah, GA". Go see for yourself
Chuck's home :P
Where was that train when you found it? By the looks of it, I'd guess it's just outside the city.
I love when developers put real landmarks in games. Must be why I love the Assassin's Creed series so much.
That is really cool. I had no idea. Thanks for posting. If there are more landmarks anyone knows about you guys should post them. I'm not from Georgia and I've only been to the Macon area 2 times, so I don't recognize this stuff. Very cool to see.
It's amazing how much effort TTG puts into it. I thought it was all made up.
molly lied, there are boats in savannah!
Hah, had no idea.
The train one is so awesome it is identical.
This is the place that save lots was based on, do you think there is a dairy farm near it?
Why isn't this more active? i want to see more real TWD landmarks.
The Travelier Motel
lol Same name and everything.
