That's a lot of supposn' you're doing there. Maybe she crawled off to heal up under a house somewhere like a cat. And it seemed to me that she… more completely ceased to exist to Chirista after she murdered her. Is not quite dead really such a stretch? We're likely to find out what happened to Christas baby in the third episode (with Clementine dealing with another pregnant woman) and maybe that's not the only thing from her past that'll come back to haunt her.
Omid was shot with Clementines gun; I think this would be a good way to address that guilt. Though they could always do the completely obvious thing and just give us Christa.
It's Lilly. If you saw when they started advertising for the walking dead the first video they had it said I thought you were dead then you see lilly and Christa. It flash's to lilly after she says that and Clemtine gives christa a hug. Now that video went poof and they removed some of the trailer from the new ones.
It went like this you hug Christa then it says I thought you were dead shows the new people then lilly.
I really don't think it's anyone. Trailers for most episodes were kind of let downs, and I feel that it'll just be the water guy who you gave or didn't give water to. Clem assumed he was dead, right? Plus, she really didn't see Kenny die... but if you left Lilly on the street, it would be reasonable. So I say Lilly (Not too likely) or the water guy, who it probably will be.
How does that make any sense, Rebecca and Lilly have never spoken to each other. Oh and Rebecca had like three lines in Episode 1 so don't go judging her just yet. Kenny all the way? Pfft says Kenny...
It won't be Christa; Clementine doesn't believe that she's dead.
It could be Kenny or Lily given that the hype around the "I thought you were dead" comment is really high right now. But I really want it to be personal to Clementine. I like Kenny but I would rule him out based on the fact that he would take care of Clementine and that's a safety net that she just shouldn't have at this point, or ever. No matter your choices in season 1, Lily betrayed the group and it would be interesting having her face Clementine again and learning that the others all died.
I still have my money on that random chick though based on the "You don't have to do this" dialog choice. She tells Clementine that you have to be mean to survive and Clementine tells her, "but I'm not mean," and then time skips forward and we get to decide who she's become.

Another obvious answer that I hadn't considered. The water guy. He can give her a clue to Christa's whereabouts and either be happy or pissed depending on your choice to give him water or not. Plot progression and choices with consequences all rolled into one. Interesting.

i do agree about with what you said about Kenny and when your not nice to him he can be a dick, but i just liked him for some reason, and yer i like Lily as well but hated it when she shot Carley for me

Maybe after being separated like this, Christa will open up to Clem a bit more. Like, you don't realize how much you miss a person until you lose them. I'm sure she misses Clem a lot.
Stop being so bitter, girl! I can almost imagine her trying to stop sulking over the tragedies, recalling happier days and telling Clem a funny story of how she met Omid when they're reunited.

You can either make Kenny hate you or love you to death, and the Kenny decisions persist a little while after he 'dies' too, with Christa and Omid consoling Lee and an option being "He was my best friend."
Kenny sticks with you from almost day one of Lee's experiences of the apocalypse to literally the last day, and we saw no body when he vanished.
The thing is that I have an idea of what could've happened for Ben/Kenny 'death', but no ideas for the "Christa falls Kenny death'. For the Ben death, Ben is covered in blood and Kenny shoots him to put him out of his misery (this is my favorite option with the story so I always take it, I love how Kenny tries to redeem for his hatred of Ben even though Ben was responsible for all of his hardships). Anyways, perhaps the Walkers were attracted to Ben's newly dead scent and much less struggling-body, so they focused on eating him as Kenny escaped? Still, the entire alleyway was full, so any of the Walkers on the ends could've focused on Kenny. I still am hoping he made it out. And as I said before, I have no idea how he could've escaped the Christa death. Maybe there were less Walkers in the building than the alleyway, so he carefully got out.
Whatever the case I feel Kenny would be a perfect candidate for this rebel group's leader. If Kenny was Carver, then it shows his decent to madness as he fights to stay alive for himself, with no friends or family left. With Clementine showing up again, maybe he'll have a blast from the past and remember (if you decided so) that Lee wanted nothing more than for (possibly Kenny) to take care of her.
Kenny's madness would surely be a recurring issue though.
There's also probably a reason Clementine pointed out the duck on the wall of the cabin, and had Kenny's family in her backpack still after a year. I feel it's a story-telling device to make sure we remember Kenny and his family was, and remains, important to season 2 also. Because it isn't like we've heard about Ben or Lily or Carley or whoever, but we've seen two hints to Kenny.

Well I think Lily or Christa is most likely, it can't be Lee because you have the option to kill him, I can't see Ben getting out of the ally and if you drop him you see him being devoured by walkers, Kenny's story feels as if it's over and I think the references to him (The drawing and the painting) is there to show that Clementine misses them and I think Kenny's family played a big part in season 1 and that's why it was them that was referenced and not anyone else, Lily's story does feel unfinished and Clementine would probably assume she had died as she was on her own, When Christa is with the survivors in the forest (Just before you get separated) there is a gunshot which might lead Clementine to assume she's dead, but you do have the option of saying "My friend is out there" later on in the episode...
There is the possibility of it being someone who is thought to die in episode two of season two, or it could be Pete/Nick but only because if you chose to save Pete you don't see Nick die... but I think those would be a bit of a let down...
In any case I am looking forward to an answer and if it's someone like Ben or Kenny a good explanation...
Guys...Ben is six feet under. In one scenario he falls from a tower, shatters both legs, and gets eaten alive by a zombie mob. In the other, he falls from a balcony, spears himself through the railing, and gets put out of his misery courtesy of a bullet to the brain BEFORE being eaten alive by a zombie mob.
Even if Kenny somehow missed, that would have meant Ben was still impaled with nowhere to go in the middle of an alley swarming with walkers. Sure, seeing Ben alive again would be a surprise, but it would also be dumber than Ben himself. (Let's also not forget how Ben's final cry "oh, fuck, Kenny, ple - " was immediately cut off after we heard the gunshot.)
I hope Carlyl! I Hope Molly! But I think Lilly/Christa... Ken would be cool but im undecided there... Most likely its the waterguy or the guy that ran of at the river? If you aid the old man???

This was a major plot hole in season one I'm glad they've finally decided to rectify it. Maybelle was way more interesting in the comics though...
