TWAU - Online connection?

edited February 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

I have a PS3 version of TWAU, can someone please tell me, does this game (and the walking dead) actually run from the internet? Like do you have to be connected? The reason I say this is because I was downloading some music earlier and I put on the game and it just wouldn't connect when I pressed play. As soon as I stopped the downloads, it worked. I tested this a few times, re-starting the game and allowing my music downloads to continue and same problem. Am I missing something here?

  • Mine (360) works as long as I'm not on a save that uses cloud storage or something

I'm going to move this to the Wolf Among Us forums so other people that have the game can offer you better help. I'd also recommend using the support forums if you have a problem.

As for your question, I don't personally know myself. I think Telltale's newer choice based games use an online connection to share your choices/stats with Telltale, so that may be what stops your music downloads. I'm just going off of how Xbox 360 handles online downloads (in other words, similarly I imagine) but I may be wrong though since I do not own a Playstation 3 or know if they handle mid game downloads differently.
