Where does episode 1 season 2 take place?
consider this: The current group is going to leave their cabin next episode. there is a picture of Carver and ski lifts next episode... but where are there mountains in Georgia? only in the northern part of the state. consider also that Clem was washed downstream when she escaped. so where in georgia would you be able to wash down stream... and then be able to walk a short distance with a pregnant lady to a mountain?
I suggest that they might not be in even in Georgia anymore. especially since the final episode shows a city on a plain covered in snow. I realize it does snow in Georgia... but not a lot right?

Mountains in North Carolina.
The last episodes thumbnail hints towards the forested mountains of Colorado.
Not Colorado, more likely the Appalachian Mountains, which are located in the Eastern US, very near North Carolina where the game is currently taking place. You're thinking of the Rocky Mountains.
