I'm fairly certain it is known that the magic mirror can not be destroyed so easily, and reforms itself, or something like that. So no, the magic mirror is fine..
In the comics the mirror mentions being broken multiple times. I think he's suppose to be a trapped wizard or soul in it, so it's not like he can just be freed if he's partly cursed himself.

In the preview for episode 3. Snow if kneeling by the magic mirror for a second, and it's looks to be fixed in the small bit of time it was shown.
