Choices too easy?
Okay, am i the only one who feels like the choices in season two episode one were a bit too...easy? If you don't get what i mean, just about EVERY choice except for the saving Doug or Carley choice in episode one of season one were all nearly 50/50 as to where just about every choice in episode one of season two is in 90% or near that, except the save Nick or Pete option which is pretty 50/50.
I guess the reason for this is because people are trying to play Clementine the same way she acted in season one and thinking about what she would do but in my opinion, that's just stupid...the reason for games like this where you make choices is so its YOUR choices, you do what you would do. The Reason for Nick and Pete actually being a 50/50 is due to the fact Clementine only met them both recently, you don't really know what she would do so you just trusted your own gut.
I loved All That Remains, but i hope in A House Divided we get a bit more difficult choices where we don't know what would Clementine do.

It's not that the choices where easy: Hell, killing that dog was far from easy, but it was a problem with morality: Most people are going to kill the dog out of mercy/hatred rather than leaving it to suffer. It's a rule of ethics and code of morality that tells us that leaving something to suffer is evil, and we shouldn't do that ever, even to our worst enemy. It's basically "Choose the option that sucks or choose the option that sucks more and makes you a dick".
As for Nick and Pete, almost everyone would have gone Pete if he wasn't supposedly bitten.
I do agree with your opinion about killing the dog, it WAS the merciful thing to do and all but that worst enemy thing...this may make me sound like an asshole but if it were our worst enemy in that scene i'd think i would leave him to suffer.
and even if Pete wasn't bitten there was something about Nick i just really liked.
I gotta say, choosing between Nick or Pete was the only difficult option for me.
So i have somebody who agrees with me, yay.
I think it's alright, though. According to the member of telltale that played the game, we're going to be getting some difficult decisions in the next episode.
Leave them to suffer? The Governor approves.
Don't get me wrong though....I would leave him there suffering and wait until he turns into a walker, and then put an end to him.
It was. save christa kill the dog, Accept nicks apology and give the man the water. In terms if nick or pete it was a case of Take a nice dead man or take an Alive Asshole
Am i one of the few people who actually really liked Nick.
I can't believe how many people forgave Nick. I told him to F off and when the stats at the end came up it was only like me and 12% who didn't forgive him.
I liked Nick too. I don't necessarily think being quick on the trigger with someone you assume is dead is a bad thing, especially after what happened to his mom. His apology also felt sincere to me. He was my favorite character from episode 1.
Most of telltales episodes involve one BIG choice during the episodes and maybe a couple minor ones. I wouldn't read to much into it since its the way they've always done it
To be fair, most decisions even in S1 ep2 were lop sided. Even more so. And several others. I'd rather see a much greater effect from some of these choices though like Nick/Pete etc
