Will it even happen in episode 2?
So after Completing Episode 2 of the Wolf Among us, I thoroughly enjoyed it. After a while I took a step back and realized that several things were teased at the end of episode 1 didn't actually take place in episode 2. These weren't throw away scenes either however, like (spoilers) Bigby in 100% wolf mode or Crane being held over the witching well.
That leads me to assume that Telltale is now teasing things that may or may not happen until several episodes in the future. This worries me because the "I thought you were dead" line has me really excited for episode 2. I irrationally believe it'll be Kenny and if we get to the end of A House Divided without that scene happening, I'll be sorely disappointed. (In no small part due to the fact that Kenny was just previously dangled in front of me then yanked away when it turned out Nick looks IDENTICAL to him from behind)
I'm going to buy and love episode 2 regardless, but I can't help but feel a little cheated if one of my biggest expectations was just a tease. What do you guys think?

What if episode 2 ends with Clementine saying "I thought you were dead" then it goes black XD
With that I could at least respect them for being the magnificently evil emotion toying bastards that they are.
I think it'll happen. Otherwise they will be at risk of pissing a lot of people off, myself included.
It will happen. No need to worry. The Wolf Among Us took so long to come out that I bet they re-made the Episode from scratch since people found out about the murder mystery so soon. Plus, Episode 3's banner changed. Which heavily implies a strong script change.
Even though the 4-6 weeks margin has went slightly overdue now I'm pretty sure we'll have the next episode of TWD in just over a week. With the show coming back on tomorrow I bet we may even get new news of Episode 2 tomorrow or Monday.
I'm not an avid forum member, so I'm a little lost. What are you referring to? Did people find out who the killer was or...?
Not exactly. Many people had a good idea though (if it was as obvious as it looked when I replayed the episode) but yeah, it was either that or something else (it's hard to say these things without saying them) in my book. Telltale probably thought up a better idea on the long run and went for that instead.
I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled that on us, Telltale has become successful by Trolling us and fucking with our minds, Its one of the things they do best
The only theory I had heard was that it was the random ginger who showed up in every other scene. Is that what you're talking about? not to turn this into a TWAU discussion .

I've been worried about this too, honestly. I REALLY hope they don't pull this on us, as another two months of waiting to see who it is would drive the fanbase insane, myself included. Given how much people want to know who it is, if this happens... well, it won't be pretty, to say the least.
Made a similar thread after reaching the same conclusion, however most people believe TellTale wouldn't do this to us.
But I wouldn't put it past them.
Heard of The boy who cried wolf? Because the ginger is called 'Cryer' in the files, so he's just a red herring. They did rewrite the story a lot, but I don't think it was because we found out.
Not because of that. Because the actually killed off Snow and Vertigo was having none of it.
If they try to pull that kind of a stunt, they're gon be pissin a whole Internet-load of people and they shall pay their price.
If you look at Clem's face she does look afraid. So I think it being anything but the two obvious at the moment (Kenny or Lilly) then obviously tons of people are going to be upset. If they do blackout after Clem says that ... then damn, I don't how I'd survive another 2 months for episode 3 :P
