Will we get a trailer for episode 2 during or after the show tonight

I was feeling like this would be a huge possibility since Telltale would spill some news on season 2 the same time the show aired. It would be more than wonderful if something came out tonight during the show. Those tweets that came out with the "just around the corner" and about playing 400 days b4 episode 2, seem to be enough to tease us about a trailer. The speculated release date is Feb. 18. So it would make sense for them to release a trailer about a week before it like they did with all the other episodes, and in front of a huge audience the show makes.

  • Gosh I hope so. I was thinking to myself, "How would I announce it if I were an advertiser?" Answer: During the premier of the second half of TWD Season 5. It makes a lot of sense and may actually grip more people who haven't played the game into possibly purchasing it. I know they were announcing TWD S1 Game in the commercials last night during their marathon, so one can hope for news today. Honestly, though, I'm not letting my hopes get too high.

  • I really hope we get news soon. That "just around the corner" thing combined with a TTG member having said they've played the episode makes me wonder what's taking them so long to make an announcement.

    They enjoy our pain.

Besides, we don't really NEED an announcement, we already have a good idea when it's coming out.

The Walking Dead is an adaptation of Robert Kirkman's Graphic Novel series, The Walking Dead. Unlike Telltale's, it does not follow a new story, rather it is an alternate version of the same story, following Rick Grimes, a police officer in Lyndon County Georgia who is shot in the line of duty and falls into a coma, only to wake up several months later in the midst of an apocalypse that has caused the dead to rise and feast on the living.

It follows Rick and others as he leads of group of survivors, fighting against both the dead and the living as they try to find a safe place, and eventually, rebuild civilization.

Basically, it's Telltale's, but with different characters and situations, and it's not nearly as good, though it is still pretty fantastic.

  • Ooooh, that one. Yes, I saw three first episodes, then I left off and never came back at this pont.

Sorry, I was confused, I thought it's gonna be another show made by Telltale which confused me a lot and totally forgot new episode is coming out today. Well, thanks for un-confusing me Zyphon ^^

I'm not seeing the show live, since I lied in Portugal, but I'm hoping that if news about the game come out someone will rush into the internet and post it. I had to change pc's since my other one stop f*cking working... And I'm happy I was able to transfer the save files without too much work (juts a little as allways...). SO now I'm kind of excited for episode 2

  • How dare you lie in Portugal?!

  • Everyone pray for a trailer tonight! Or at least "big" news for episode 2!
I will be checking here and telltale's twitter after the show tonight!

You should watch it, the first 2 Seasons aren't that great(Season 1 is just a bit meh, Season 2 had pacing issues), but S3 and the current one, 4, have been fantastic, in some aspects they've even done better than the Graphic Novels. Though, they're still not better as a whole, yet.

  • A release date would be nice.

  • Agreed. Honestly if we get a solid release date and maybe get a trailer next week I'd be fine with that. As long as we get something
If we dont get anything I'll probably go cry

Agreed season 1 is fine I don't expect too much starting out in a series but season 2 is overall pretty boring although there ARE some fantastic episodes i'd say 1/3rd of the season at least and it is overall better than most things on TV these days. Season 3 had some pacing issues but was overall fantastic despite a weak finale which I did end up crying at won't lie and Season 4 is the best yet even it's "filler" episodes heavily outweigh those from the past season it's just gotten that good and I can't wait for the rest of the season. So yeah since at least 3/4th of the episodes are great I have to give the show AT LEAST an overall 8/10 if not higher.

  • We may expect it by tomorrow, but telltale loves to mess with us....

  • I can't take this waiting anymore, ep01 was too damn awesome! D;

  • Yes telltale might love messing with us, as you put it. Thing is though, I think it's starting to backfire.

  • TWD game is not linked with TV show. It's based on Kirkman's comic books.

  • That's a weird way to say it since the TV show is based on the comic books. I mean, it's more like the game takes place in the same universe.

I didn't think that S3 was that slow, but it did have some of the worst dialogue(EX: "I'm doing stuff, Lori. Things."), and some awful characters, like Andrea. I was actually happy that she died, her character had just awful writing, and I wasn't to fond of the actress that played her either, which is a shame, she's my favorite character in the comics.

Really, there's only a handful of episodes that stand out to the level of Telltale's Walking Dead writing. Those episodes, in my opinion, are Too Far Gone, Clear, Live Bait, Better Angels, and this newest one, After. Rick and the Governor are better than their Comic counterparts, and there is some great dialogue in S4 at least.
