Silly 'ithoughtyouweredead' Theories
Been ahem lurking on these forums for quite a while now, and finally decided to make a post about this. Tons of people have made guesses that don't make any sense when you think about how the game has worked previously. I've thought about it a lot, and here's what I can come up with.
Molly, Lilly, Vernon: Clementine has no reason whatsoever to believe any of them are dead. Molly can't die even if Lee shoots her, Lilly simply runs away if you leave her on the side of the road, or has the RV if you take her with you, and Christa most certainly isn't dead. Even if she is, Clem is still very adamant about her being alive, as evidenced by dialogue in the first episode. I've discounted the three entirely.
The St. John brothers: It's not going to be anyone who you had the option of killing in season 1. Plain and simple.
Omid: Most certainly dead and buried. They would have shot him in the head before burying/leaving him to prevent reanimation.
Nick (if you chose Pete): Determinant, not going to happen. The scene appears regardless of who you saved.
Anyone who's blatantly deceased (IE: Lee, Ben, Glenn, any of the people that we saw have real death scenes): Just stop, please.
All this leaves in my mind is Kenny, if it's someone from season 1 at all. Telltale could be fucking with us, as they are apt to do, and it's just a new character who 'dies' halfway through the episode and they bring back later on, or even in another episode, as in The Wolf Among Us, they showed scenes in the 'In the Next Episode' bits that didn't appear in episode 1 or 2. But barring any trickery, Kenny is the likeliest candidate. We all know about his ambiguous death scene, Telltale saying his fate would 'be explored' in season 2, and the awesome powers his mustache imbued him with. I've heard people say that Clem would have no reason to suspect him being dead, but they're wrong. Omid and Christa were traveling with Clem for over a year and a half, and were present when Kenny 'died'. They would have told her, surely. It had to have come up at some point.
With the information we are currently presented with, I don't see how it could be anyone other than Kenny. But these are just theories. If you have something to prove that I'm wrong on any of this, I'd be glad to have it, but I've gone through a lot of threads and a lot of 'evidence' that these theories are wrong, but I just don't see any solid proof.

nice prediction i give a high five and go with at least for the characters we have known who knows maybe there is an "Easter egg" and the man is an unknown somebody from the first season but its most likely that its kenny
