Something that's always bothered me

This is more of a canonical Walking Dead thing, although it does happen with Lee and Clem in the season 1 finale. But once survivors have figured out that smearing walker entrails essentially hides them from the walkers.............why the heck isn't every survivor covering themselves in entrails all the time? I'm sure it smells horrible and feels horrible, but if that's the only thing it takes to make yourself invisible to the threat at hand.......why wouldn't you do that? It wouldn't be very hard to keep a barrel of walker blood and just ladle some over the top of your head in the morning and go about your business.

Fear of risk of getting infected from blood transfusion. Lets say somebody has aids and gets their blood on you. Guess what you got aids. Damnit if I wasn't lazy id put a Team America meme here XD

That's an interesting point. However, imagine you're in a situation where you're in the middle of a crowd (think back to season 1 of the TV series) and it begins to rain, but you're completely surrounded. You've gotten yourself in a death trap. And I would hate the thought of relying on guts and blood on me when in the middle of a crowd. Hell, I guess we would have to do things we hate to survive.
