no sound at all in strong bad ep 1

Hi, I'm running the game on an AMD Athlon 64 3400 that has 1 Gb RAM and uses an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 128 mb video card and a PCMCIA Sound Blaster Audigy 2.

The problem is that the game will not produce any sound at all. I've tried redownloading, reinstalling, and tried deleting the prefs.prop file but those did not work.

Do you know what could fix the issue?

    Have you tried updating your DirectX? If that doesn't work, try updating your audio drivers.
