Where Have All the People Gone? (1974 post-apocalyptic movie)
Some of you might want to check this out. It's a surprisingly good flick from the '70's, and it shares more than a few similarities with WALKING DEAD, especially in the character development department. I'm almost ready to bet Robert Kirkman saw this on TV in his childhood, and it left a subliminal impression on him.
