Was The Woodsman set free.

If you play through TWAU and capture Dee, you torture/interrogate him for awhile. then when you go to the trip-trap, you find out that Crane let him go. My question is, if you detain Woody instead will Crane let him go, or does he just keep him locked up?

  • It wasn't revealed yet

  • If you told Holly that the Woodsman was having sex with her sister, you get a scene in the trailer for episode 3 showing Grendel kicking his ass. So yes, he was set free.

  • Not necessarily. I didn't tell Holly that, but in my preview Grendel was still mad at him.

  • Well, i'm assuming since Bigby now thinks Crane is the murderer, there is no reason to keep Woody locked up anymore.

  • We don't have the whole story.

  • If you interrogate the Woodsman, then Grendel tells you that Toad stopped by the Trip Trap and told them about everything. They don't say whether or not Woody was still in custody, but as others have mentioned, the preview for ep. 3 includes a scene where Gren is threatening Woody at the Trip Trap.

  • Well, looks like Dee and Woody are in for the ultimate timeout when Sheriff Wolf finds them, complete with pacifiers, rattles and all!

  • well this definitely supports my theory that Crane hired Dee/Dum or he knew their boss. he seemed far too eager to let Dee go and he was very angry that you detained him.
