PAX EAST 2014
So what the hell happened for this unofficial EP2 delay? You don't really think it takes this long to cook a good TWD episode do you? All I can say is I sure as hell hope now or we will be waiting a year for the entire game to get done.
Since I like to connect the dots without solid evidence I figure I would throw this out there. I believe that TTG is gearing up for PAX EAST and wants to have a TWD marketing campaign with the new episode to make a splash.
Here is my evidence. So far this year TWD marketing campaign has been nonexistent.
Following the mid season break TWD S2 commercials ramped up during the TV show. Now TTG is telling us to stay tuned for the EP2 trailer coming soon. Okay then I saw that Scott Porter just finished recording a playing dead episode for TWD EP2.
Another Interesting fact is starved for help TWD S1 EP2 was released 1 month before PAX PRIME 2012. http://mixnmojo.com/news/Telltale-Will-Be-Playing-Dead-Live-at-Pax-Prime and guess what was playing at PAX PRIME 2012? Playing dead episodes on the LCD displays outside the TTG booth as well as TWD television trailers plugging the game.
Almost like déjà vu in 2012 fans were upset over the delay for TWD S1 EP2 starved for help. It was rumored that TTG was putting a little extra effort and refining to get the game all pretty for PAX PRIME 2012. http://www.gamerzines.com/playstation/angry-telltale-games-delayed-walking-game.html
Humm. The latest indication from TTG is EP 2 will be released early March what ends up being approx 1 month before PAX EAST. https://www.facebook.com/PaxEast2014 April 11-14th.
Like I said this is only a theory and it might just mean jack sh!t but I wanted to see what the community members thought of it. Who knows TTG might not even show up to PAX EAST. I can't find a vendors list yet online but it is interesting none the less.
