Anyone notice the snow?

edited February 2014 in The Walking Dead

I just noticed the snow falling whenever it switched to Carlos. You see it for a short time, but it looks like snow :P. Just a thought that they could be up in the mountain area or possibility making their way up North to Wellington.

  • Clearly subtle advertising for Game of Thrones.

  • Anyway, I just cant stop watching this damn trailer!

Clem is gonna need a coat soon, heck everyone does!

  • Wow. I really can't believe I never paid attention to the fact there was already snow there.

I'm trying to avoid watching this trailer as much as possible though. Wanna play the game without remembering too much of what happened in a trailer.

  • That's what I'm saying. Give Clementine a jacket or story will become unbelievable. Jacket is A) needful during winter, B) jacket looks good (Lee's jacket from second episode).

About Wellington. Why would they go there, javoris? It was Christa's idea.

Clem is gonna need a coat soon, heck everyone does!

  • Ya know what confuses me even more, the fact that in Season 1 Christa suggesting living the countryside, and now she wants to go to Wellington, which could be a city, and it could have fallen.

You think she wouldn't respect her last friend and guardian's wishes?

And in the event that Christa is alive but separated from Clem, since they talked about going to Wellington together, maybe both of them will head there now in hopes of meeting the other when they get there.

It would be a touching reunion, I'm sure. After all the crap she's been through, she finally finds her friend Christa in episode 5.

  • Brace yourself...Kenny is coming!

  • Clementine doesn't know much about Wellington. She probably wouldn't find the place. Maybe somebody in the cabin knows how to get there but they wouldn't buy the idea; they don't trust Clementine enough. In the trailer Luke is leading the group. I believe they are going somewhere else.

  • WOOOW good finding, some people have been saying they found snow but I didn't noticed it, now I see it ;)

Winter may be hard for the walkers because of the snow, but at least they are not affected by the cold and people really are, they have to find some warm clothes

  • Oh, I didn't mean that they're immediately going for Wellington, that's something that'll happen in the later episodes, like, 4 or 5.
By then I'm sure most of the cabin group will be dead anyway.

Right now they only seem to be running from Carver.

If Clementine doesn't get a christmas sweater I'm going to be so pissed off.

  • I think walkers are REALLY affected by the cold (that's why Christa wanted to go north) It was said probably at some point in the comic.

  • Yup, walkers freeze during the winter, so the only threat then is starvation and people.

It's a ski lodge, what do you expect? Where there are mountains, usually they have snow.

  • Wellington can be a city but it's hard to point it on a map and say - that's the place she's talking about. What if it's hotel name or ranch? Christa and Omid were from California, I think. They've seen many places on their way. Wellington could be their former stop.
