Sam and Max Pro Scares my Compy

Each time I try to play Sam and Max the game freezes for a few minutes. And it take a few minutes for it to unfreeze.

Any idea why this is happening?

    Low memory, probably.

    A lot of the Sam and Max games are fairly memory intensive.

    If your computer has less than 1G RAM, it's going to struggle, especially during scene changes.

    The only suggestion I can make is to shut down everything else before playing the game. Close all other applications (email, browser, IM, yada yada) to make Windows have more free memory. (check out how much in Task Manager)
