Sharing Is Caring!
PLEASE LEAVE THREAD SPOILER-FREE OR ADD A SPOILER TAG.
So I recently heard about the whole Steam family-sharing feature, and being a huge fan of the Walking Dead series but not currently owning a copy of the second season, I was wondering if there was anyone out there who wishes to share the game with me and up to 9 other people who unfortunately don't own a copy of season 2. This is a completely legal feature in Steam that Valve added in. The only downside is that we will not be able to play the game at the same time. If anyone wants to do this, I would be very happy, and I'd be eternally grateful. Thanks!

I have the Steam Family Feature, but there's a few details you have wrong that might make it a little tricky for you to find someone...
First, as the name hints at, the system is set up to allow people in the same family/household to share games on the same machine. While you can still share your library remotely, to do so you have to share your account details with someone (username/password) because you have to be logged into your account to authorize the computer when you first set it up. So for example, I have my library shared with my brother and my fiance since I trust them to not log into my account and mess around, I wouldn't do this with a stranger, since this could allow them to do things with my account that could cause me a lot of trouble, like change my password so I can't use my account anymore (effectively stealing my entire library of games from me) or getting me banned from the steam community if they decided to troll or harass someone on my account. I'm not saying you would do this, but it's not a very safe thing to do.
Secondly, it's not as easy as just the game being only playable by one person at a time--only one person can play ANY game in your library at a time. So for example, if you were playing Season Two, and I didn't realize it and started playing another game in my steam library (like, say....Psychonauts?) you would be given a few seconds of warning and then you'd be kicked out of your game.
I know this is probably going to be disappointing, but I would recommend either trying to find a trusted friend or family member that has the game to share with you, or try to find a way to save up for the game and play it yourself. It's not really safe to use Steam Family Sharing with a stranger!
