"I thought you were dead"-appreciation thread
staying in the state of denial about Kenny's death seemed to have paid off!
Even though he seems to have gone through a lot and being kind of different from how he was in Season 1, seeing him again got to me on a deeply emotional level. I literally cried, when Clem saw Kenny. It is nice, seeing how Kenny is the only one of the original survivors. Sure, he was an ass and emotionally fragile at times, but I still held him to be the strongest companion in Season 1.
But cruel as TellTale is, I don't think this happiness will be for long, when you consider how "A House Divided" unfolded after being reunited with Kenny.
All in all, I think this Episode was one of the best, storywise, and got me as emotionally engaged as Ep. 5 in Season 1. It was amazing how everything played together... Nick's instability and itchy triggerfinger resulting in the death of, who turned out to be, Matthew. The emotional strain in picking sides between Luke's group and Kenny and of course Carver, whom I cannot identify as fully evil or fully good. As it is often with TellTale, it's never that easy, when it comes to characters. Even the Stranger had his motives, that were plausible to himself. Still choked'a'bitch though...
