Us Store from Europe PS3?

I saw this question on another thread and thought it'd get more attention with it's own.

It seems PS3 users in Europe are wondering if they can buy episode 2 off the US site and download it onto their system.

I don't have a clue about this can anyone help these guys?

    It might be able to be done with a US account, but it's better to wait to make sure that the saves carry over from episode 1 (and season one/400 days, since the saves would not be compatible between regions).

    There was no need to create another thread for this though, so I'm going to close this thread.
