Be Nice = Definitely Die?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

Disclaimer: I absolutely love this series and think it's extremely enjoyable, but...

Does anyone else feel it's getting slightly predictable that whenever a character is overly nice they are either going to A) be killed off, or B) have some dark secret/be lying?

I mean I know the whole series has a definite nihilistic vibe but can't there seriously just be a character or two who is genuinely kind and actually lives through a few episodes?

I mean as soon as Walter first started talking I literally said out loud to myself "OK, you'll be dead in 5 minutes..." Same with Matthew.

Anyone else feeling this a bit lately? Or is a world like TWD supposed to not be conducive to nice people surviving?

  • Consider Walter and Matthew lived quite a long time, then Clementine's group came and got them both killed. xD

I personally think Luke is a nice person and he....might not be dead. Lee and Clementine can be very nice since you control them and choose how they act.

  • Luke is most definitely NOT dead. He can take care of himself.

I think he's gonna try to save Clemmy and the others OR... He has some dark secret and everyone's gonna be surprised/shocked.
