I feel like episodes 1 and 2 of season two were one episode

I know people are complaining about length, and the length is OK I guess, but I would like something more like...episode 3 of last year, which was like 3 hours long.

I remember reading in an interview, I think it was with Game Informer, that the reason they cut off Episode One where they did was because there was too much they had to deal with after that last choice. Maybe these two episodes, conceptually, were meant to be more like one Episode? But they had to split it because together, it just would have been too long.

Just a thought.

    I think episode 3 was just long like that because they had to make the surivivors get to savanah by the end of the episode.

    both were about 1:55 for me. but in an interview with game informer, they said they ended episode 1 where they did because there was just too much in the aftermath to deal with, hence the abrupt ending with the "choice". basically both were being worked on simultaneously.
