I Don't know.. I saw a let's play that showed Nick's death and it was just too sad for me..
Also Pete asked me to protect him, i'm glad he's alive in MY playtrough.. but still.. fucking sad, he isn't a bad guy and i don't get why people keep saying he's BEN 2.0 when he's just a guy who tries to help in every way but also fucks up everytime. (but in the end that's what Ben did too)
What you think of him? He deserved to die?
Oh, and fuck Walter too in that occasion.

I put him in a league with Ben. They were both idiots who did nothing but Fuck up constantly. I like nicks character more though and don't think he deserved to die.
I don't really think he's an idiot, I don't even think Ben was one too.
They are just people scared about the time they live in and so they keep fucking up constantly.
How does Nick end up dead? Didn't happen for me.
I like Nick, so I don't think I could watch his death. Same way I can't watch Ben's if you drop him from the bell tower. And yeah, the fact that you can promise Pete you'll protect him makes it even sadder to think about.
You need to tell Walter "He's just like everybody else" then i guess he shoots him while he's fighting the walker.
JUST finished playing ep 2 and it was INTENSE LOL. I would never let nick die, nor carlos. If that's possible? I find nick cool.. he just needs a some talking. But if he dies in ep 2, he'll surely die in the next episode since he isnt important.
Ben is the optimal version of idiocy. Of course they are scared. Hell even Pete was scared and he was badass. Only difference is most others who are scared can function without fucking up constantly.

The walker kills Nick if you say that. If you say "Nick is a good guy", Walter kills the walker, saving Nick.

Nick's alive in my playthrough. I really think he's a genuinely good guy, just a bit clumsy and impulsive. He's a heck of a lot more calm than Kenny is now, that's for sure. Most importantly though, I see him as a guy who screws up, but gets way too much crap for it. Nobody seems to tell him that what he did was an honest mistake, he just needs to be more careful and less impulsive. It's like everybody is "DUDE YOU MADE A MISTAKE WHAT THE HELL BUT OF COURSE YOU DID CUZ YOURE YOU AND YOU WOULD DO THIS SO I DONT THINK YOU SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO MAKE DECISIONS AND STUFF LETS DISCUSS".
Seriously, though, Walter's the only guy who gives him a break (depending on what you say to him, of course).
That slap is exactly what I wanted Clem to do to Carver in the lodge. If not more. I hope I get to burn Carver's world to the ground next episode.

I'm with you Kunny. I think that Nick is a good guy, I mean, he lost all his family.. He saw her mother's dying in front of him. I think he's more like all of us, not an hero, he tries to help but he's really scared.
Whether or not Nick and Alvin lived, if they were able to die in Ep2 then they will by dying later on either way.
