General Feelings about this episode... - Spoilers!

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

This is a "sortaish" review of the latest episode, but more to show my feelings on it.

  1. Luke is acting odd.. but is still awesome. I want to know where he is and what he's doing right now.

  2. Kenny's back ... eh... I'm more intrested on how he survived a compact alley full of two walker herds from both directions with no bullets. "I got out" isn't a good explanation and just sounds like a cop out to please the kenny fanbase. This is exactly what I DIDN'T want from the episode. Kenny is also sliding into dislike again, taking action when logic dictates it's best not too and having his conquences shown in his face

  3. I now hate Bonnie. I know she's a fictional character, but how could she betray Leland like that? they guy who had the most patience for her all this time to make her a better person? she just jumps right into a group that know's is doing wrong and is probably on drugs again..

  4. Holy shit a main character can die if the wrong dialouge choice is made? I never ended up having it happen, but holy crap..

  5. What was your opinion on the choice for the end of episode 1? personally, I choose Pete to give him a last few moments of peace and comfort without dying violently to walkers.
Even if he was bit.. it could of been a scrape or cut, I'll never know, cause I let him go out in his blaze of glory to save Clementine.

  6. Despite me disliking Kenny, he gave off an aura throughout the episode.. untill the end.. which made me be so kind to him. I immediately hugged him as I went in the episode with hate for him, only to see him and be overwhelmed with happiness. I even reset my chapter a few times to make him happy too. I.E sitting by him at dinner and what not.

  7. I loved the refrences and honors to the last season in this. "I'm.. carley"
"Lee was one hell of a guy.."
    "Cutting it off never works.."

  8. I really appricate the amount of freedom more esque to season 1 in this episode than the sorta rushed approach episode 1 took. Would appricate the time to ask more questions though..

  • I will be very general: My favorite episode, and the best thus far.

i actually sat very quiet as kenny and carver started killing people. i laughed my ass off. serves them right for putting locking clem up and keeping sarah in the dark.

  • Of both seasons? yeah. I can see what you mean, it felt quite lengthy with more focus on the dangers of humanity more than else, action cut for more bonding time and stuff. Overall on my top five episodes :D

A New Day is probably my least favorite. It was them just getting started, every episode has more or less gotten better since then. Well, I actually like Long Road Ahead more then Around Every Corner, and All The Remains is probably just below No Time Left in my opinion, but besides those episodes, I think they've basically gotten continually better.

I also realized that I put them the wrong way. I fixed it now.
