For those saying the dialogues don't matter...
I've seen several threads and posts the past day or so that have criticized S2 for not having the dialogue have more weight and meaning, and that Clem's choices don't matter.
That's how it should be. She's 11. It'd be very unrealistic if everyone took her word like the S1 survivors listened to Lee. It'd be unrealistic for Clem to do much on her own. She's a small person in a much larger world, regardless of her survival skills. I really don't like people complaining that S2 is downgraded in quality because Clementine isn't the born-leader, persuasive, tough-as-nails Lee. Did you want her to be a clone or something?

TTG: Oh nvm our apologists will come up wth bogus theoroes as to why we shouldnt lolol
Seriously the mind of apologists...I bet a TTG writer could kill a child irl right now and you would say "Aww the writer doesnt discriminate age when he murders how modern!".
I disagree with this. I think you have to look back to what Chuck said. If you treat her like a little girl, she is going to die a little girl. I think the reason people may be complaining is because we want Clem to prove that she can be all those things even if she is small and for her to show more of an effect on the situation.
Yeah but remember this isn't lee and chuck is dead do you think everybody's g
Gonna take that mentality
Chuck did say that. Lee taught Clem how to survive.
But that doesn't mean the other characters around her should be forced to respect her. In their eyes, she's a kid. That's realistic. If Clementine had the same authority as Lee, it'd be unrealistic, weird, and out of character. Telltale's writing isn't poor, it's how they intended Clementine to be. A kid in a brutal world.
You clearly have no idea what the criticism is referring to, please praytell which moments in S2 you THINK we are criticising in terms of choices and impact, cuz so far you're sprouting apologist conjecture
Why don't you tell us what moments you're referring to
If you want to
Because an apologist twists their argument to suit theirs, thy made the statment first they must then flow up. Good gosh you are the apologists apologist of your comments are anything to go by, you never really contribute anything
Wtf are you talking about I'm trying to be polite to let you calmly state your points I'm not "apologizing" for anything
You're being 'polite' the same way a neighbour asks a fireman putting out a fire next door to "please keep it down".
If I remember correctly all I did was ask you what points you were referring
Seriously what is your problem
Chuck was talking about the concept of death which is pretty much their whole existence now. Remember he told Clem she was going to die. Death doesn't care about age, intellect, sex or strength. Humans are a different thing entirely; we've already seen people underestimating Clem's ability because she's a child.
That's a valid point. I guess I just kind of automatically ties death and humans together.
I agree as much as I hate it people to underestimate others

hormone problem like rebecca
stupefy...right
no, you're not answering my question, the one that would support your claim and help people to understand your view, because you cant because your made a silly statement based on outrageous conjecture. You decide to turn to insults instead thereby cementing the fact that you had no idea what you were talking about.
and no you havent surprised me, you've acted exactly the way I expect an apologist to behave
