The Walking Dead should have a "Hardcore Mode"
When you choose this option at the beginning of the episode, if you die at anytime during the episode, it's literally game over, you have died in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. There will be no save file, you will have to start the episode again.
At your dying screen, show some statistics about the choices you made so far and how many other Hardcore players died at the same scene as you. Players will get an achievement once they finished the episode (or the whole season) in Hardcore, also show how many people make it to the end without dying and how many died.
I feel this option fits perfectly into a zombie survival theme game and push the tension of the game into a whole new level, you are literally fighting for your life, one wrong move and you're dead. That would be the best experience ever.

or,you can just quit to main menu & delete your save file to start all over again
