  • I can tell you what he's talking from, given he thinks Clem is 8 years old. That review isn't very good. I personally have a minor issue with how the story started, and Ep 2 made up for it, but this guy is just firing from the hip like he thinks everyone is gonna agree with him. Oh well, he's welcome to his opinion.

  • WTF is that weirdo taking about Lol. 6/10 really? Someone obviously was pissed Kenny came back or just rushed through the story. It was a great episode so what is he talking about. Your actions do matter and the QTE's aren't lame at all. That guy needs to stop reviewing haha. He's probably a troll who hates TWD game.

I agree that the review is stupid, he obviously doesn't like the game and is only playing it because he has to, the Metro is a free newspaper so they proberbly couldn't get a decent person to be their game reviewer, he's probably a recent college graduate on minimum wage.

The majority of reviews for episode 2 are good http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/the-walking-dead-season-two-episode-2---a-house-divided

  • Same guy also gave bioshock burial at sea ep1 5/10 . Like really ? It wasn't perfect but it was good

I made a comment on the review, i know it wont change things but i needed to say something as the fact that the reviewer isn't paying much attention to the story where he thinks Clem is still 8 is really annoying.

  • If I had to state a criticism, I would say that the "puzzle" to turn off the wind turbine sucked! I get that puzzles have been scaled way back since Episode 1 but this is ridiculous. People said Carly not knowing that the radio needed batteries was bad? None of the people around me could figure out that all you need to do to turn off the turbine was to get the key and insert it unto the button.

At the least, they could have used an alternative reason, such as, no one else could see what they were doing because Clem is the only one with a lighter. That's legitimate enough but to say that no one knows how to turn it off? Makes them look dumb, especially the ones that have been around the area for awhile.

  • He mentions that game is getting linear but it always been that way. Look at s1e2 for example , no matter what you pick you and group end up at farm

  • The review's overly harsh and does raise one or two points that aren't as well realized as they could be, but at the same time there are also points that are valid and at the end of the day, a review is simply one person's thoughts and feelings. This guy happened not to enjoy the game very much. Fine. Whatever. That doesn't make it universal law, but it's his opinion and he's perfectly entitled to it.

I said something similar to this in another thread, this is the only thing i felt they failed on in this episode, they should have made it more complicated by either making you need so find the key in the lodge or making more steps to turn off the turbine.

  • WTH is he a fucking stupid? Does he really think that Clementine is 8 years old, there is even option to say B***** that "I'm eleven". I hate this kind of reviewers, they can't enjoy games they just complain about little things.

  • i can relate to some points he makes (QTE), but i also think just because the gameplay is not his cup of tea and he maybe hoped of twd as a classic click&point game like past tt games or for example the sherlock holmes games, it's not a bad game. and yes, that he doesn't get clems actual age and certain others hints show that this review is really shallow (but you can't expect too much from a free newspapers critic i guess).
