Yeah I was expecting more bitchy attitude from Rebecca but gladly she seemed to tone down her anger issues...
As for Bonnie, I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT TO HAPPEN!! WHY BONNIE WHY!??!? AFTER ALL THAT BACKSTORY OF HOW YOU'RE JUST ANOTHER SWEET GIRL HELPLESS, I REGRET PLAYING AS HER!
Sorry, had to let out all of my frustration.
1.Clem used a rifle. 2.Carver plays a role like the governor. 3.Rebecca's change. 4.Luke is missing. 5.Carlos fingers broken (:
Just great writing overall! Well done Telltale, you did good... you did good.
p.s i think Carver is such a interesting character!
Oh and i know you're only supposed to choose 5 but i'm glad we are starting to see 400 days people!
And it knocked her on her ass. Just like Pete said. I miss that man.
I like amazing vie from top the ladder
There are more things I like and some things I dislike, but that's definitely my first five that I think of
1: kenny
2: kenny's new godlike beard
3: kenny's now longer mullet
4: kenny and clem reunited
5: the reunited hug
The entire episode.
The entire episode.
The entire episode.
The entire episode.
The entire episode.
Seriously though, every scene in EP2 was pure gold.
Not in a specific order:
Building up trust with the group
Reuniting with Kenny
Rebecca becomes less Rebecca
Change in location
Antagonist introduced in the middle of the season
I liked this episode. So many great moments, I can't even pick five. So I'm just gonna gush a little in list format! =P
I chose Pete at the end of the last episode, and his sacrifice was awesome, but so was the (futile) option to hang on until he forces her away.
Teaching Sarah how to use a gun, sorta mirroring the scene where Lee teaches Clem (in fact, it would be awesome if the dialogue changed depending on what Lee teaches her all the way back in the third episode of the first season).
In addition, Carver's whole introductory scene was nerve wracking, and he has made for a great antagonist. The choices trying to deceive or intimidate him were all cool and funny, and I'm wondering (seeing as how he seemed savvy the entire time) if this will affect what he expects from Clem in this next episode (which looks to be him trying to take her under his wing O.o). I agree with other players' assessment that he seems to have a "Governor" quality to him.
Rebecca finally apologizing for her behavior. Not that Clem was holding it against her in the first place (I'm sure traveling around with a pregnant lady for however long she did made her more sympathetic). You can't really begrudge a hormonal, pregnant lady during the zombie apocalypse, and her whole drama being the main driving force behind Carver's actions (obviously) adds even more weight to the last major decision.
What is the most important thing, Clem? "Family"
Luke and Clem badassing the two walkers on their way to the bridge.
The bridge scene was epic enough (even if I PRESSED THE DAMN DIRECTION YOU WHORE the prompts didn't always respond very well). In fact, the best part was Clem grabbing the metal pole and (on my playthrough) one-shotting the walker in the head on her first try.
You know Nick, despite being a trigger happy retard, is a good guy who just needs to GET HIS DAMN SHIT TOGETHER GOD YOU'RE AS BAD AS BEN
Yeah, yeah, great to see Kenny again, blah blah blah, though I suspect Clem will have the same problems with him that Lee had.
Unwinding in the lodge was a great bit of catching up dialogue, and ultimately getting Walter to forgive Nick was satisfying.
Turning of the... wind turbine? Carlos and another were all like "How do I even turn this off?!" And Clem's all like "Do I have to do everything myself?" and then solves the puzzle by shining a light and finding the key hanging on a hook right in front of them.
I couldn't just let Carlos die (would he have died?) and if Burn Notice has taught me anything, its that the best way to save hostages is to become a hostage as well. I'll have to find out how the other decision plays out sometime.
Clementine is nothing short of a Little Miss Badass when, after having got captured, you're given the option to SAVE ALVIN when Carver grabs him, and Clem goes all Leeroy Jenkins and launches herself at them, prompting Carver to put her at gunpoint.
Can I just say this entire episode was great? And that the next one looks to be all kinds of mind fuckery as we try and keep everyone alive, safe, and figure out just what is so off with this little camp we're being taken to? Because both of those things. This wait will be agonizing. -_-
So this thing double-posted, even though I only clicked once. I don't see an option to delete posts, so I'll edit this second one and say that, if a mod can delete this, that would be groovy. =P
