Which Clementine do you prefer?

Do you prefer the sweet and innocent little girl we all loved in Season 1?

Or do you prefer the more sassy, badass older version of her in Season 2?

For me it's the badass we get to play as in Season 2. She's so mature and not a lot seems to phase her. But she also shows glimpses of the girl we all grew to love.

Anyone else?

  • The sassy badass one I jsut hope we get to have soem badass choices with her. I love her both versions though, it worked well in season one because of Lee and stuff

  • I like both, sassy Clem is adorable though.

  • Sassy Clem is the best Clem!

There's no doubt in my mind about that.

  • Younger is better

  • I love season 2 Clem! In a not creepy way...

Yes you are Clem, yes you are.

  • In Episode 6, I definitely preferred season 1 Clem, but now, I'm actually excited to see more of Clementine.

  • Glad to see you're warming up to Season Two Clem. Remember you and I had a big dispute over Clementine's behaviour in the first episode.

  • Damn, I was going to say the same thing. But at the same time, they grow up so fast ;_;

  • Not season 2 Clem. Episode 2 Clem. Fuck Episode 1 Clem.

  • I liked them both, I liked how they made her act older and stuff and gave her more snappy ways of saying things.

    Who doesn't love BADASS CLEMMY

  • It's the same girl. I can't pick one because there is only one :)

She is getting older, and it is getting interesting.

  • I hope Kenny somehow brings back a little bit of season1 Clem into her. She was smiling around almost everything in the ski lodge after meeting Kenny again and he made her laugh real good too. Probably she first time she's laughed in those 2 years that have passed.

  • I know, man. I am thankful. And I love this song! :)

  • I miss S1 Clem...

  • Season 1 Clem was a lot more believable and compelling as a character. I am having trouble digesting her new personality, mostly because it doesn't even vaguely resemble her season 1 personality.

S2 clem is the greatest. Her whole demeanor is so dope to me. All the people complaining about s2 clem and saying she should be like s1 clem need to grow up and realize that in the real world being cute and innocent won't get you nowhere. She had to toughen up or die a very painful death at the hands of a horde of walkers or possibly harmed by sadistic psychos that could have done God knows what to her. Clem is a product of her environment, a tough unforgiving environment, thus why she is who she is now.

I love her even more now. She was sweet and cute and lovable back then but I cant say enough how much Ive just been enjoying watching her grow up and seeing the changes in her. She can still be sweet but if she was still like she was in season one, she would pretty much be Carlos's daughter.

  • Exactly and we all know Carlos' daughter wouldn't last one week out there by herself. S1 clem could be sweet and innocent because Lee was there. Now that Lee is gone and the only people she has are some strangers she just met and Kenny(Dear God), she has to depend on her own strength and smarts now more than anything.

  • Gah! You got me listening to it more than once and now I'm sad, lol.

  • ....

I was going to say that!

    :p

  • Well, a year of living in a zombie infested wasteland, full of marauding dangerous people will do that to you. Also I suppose seeing your parents and zombies, and the man who cared for you die also probably has something to do with it. Also I'd like to point out that before the "modern age" 11 years old was close to, if not "grown up", hell I'm sure there are plenty of women in history who were married by that age.

Season 1 Clem was a lot more believable and compelling as a character. I am having trouble digesting her new personality, mostly because it doesn't even vaguely resemble her season 1 personality.

  • Her personality between seasons 1 and 2 is dissimilar enough that she could be considered to be two different characters. I just happen to prefer her character in season 1.

  • Innocent Clem was so adorable. She made me smile every time. But growing up is a must. She can't be a little girl just waiting for someone else to save her. She is on her own now! So I still like her very very much.

  • Season 2 Clem is definitely a product of her environment. She has had to hold a lot of pain, hurt, and anguish inside and has become tougher and more hardened in order to survive. There have been times during this season where she has shown us that her child-like demeanor still exist. Remember when she first woke up with the cabin group around her in episode 1? There is an option to give one of the members (Luke?) a sad puppy eyes look to get him to help you and he calls you out on it. She also tried to use the "I'm just a little girl" excuse a few times during that same episode. She may try to act like an adult, but she knows she's still only 11. Anyway, I like her character in both seasons, I just have to adjust to the 2 years of change.

  • Yeah I know. She still has the little girl in her we all fell in love with, it's just been repressed because of the need for her to remain tough and not vulnerable to people who could possibly hurt her. It just shows how smart and in control clem is at times as she knows she can use her innocent little girl side to appeal to people's softer nature or manipulate them to do what she wants.

    ...Aren't they the same character?

I suppose I like where her progression is going in Season 2, but I still don't want her to become totally cold. Thankfully, it seems that Telltale hasn't gone that direction.

  • I love season 1 Clementine. She was my little sweet pea. But I actually respect Season 2 Clementine, despite all the horrors she has seen she remains a good person. But now she is a person capable of standing on her own, yes she has an edge now but it's that edge that will keep her alive. I'm just so damn proud of my sweat pea now.

  • They are both the same person. For me, it is like watching your daughter grow up and no matter how much she changes, you still loves her.
