Season 2 Episode 2 Sucks Anyone else think so?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

I am very disappointed. What a bunch of bs. It doesn't matter which option you pick the same thing happens. You control less in this episode than any other. You don't get to look around or the option to pick up the wrong item. I waited and waited for this spisode to come out and I think its the worst one yet.

You do know Nick and Alvin can die? and that if your Sarahs friend she'll show you she found a gun you can teach her to use other wise she doesn't? plenty of stuff changes you just didn't notice.

  • Yo mama sucks.

You can change the fate of 2 characters, choose sides between 2 groups important to you and so on. Episode is great and you provide no information of contrarily.

  • I actually like looking around less. Yes it makes the Episodes shorter like this one but to me its a waste of time. All you do is pick up a few things, maybe do a small task or small talk with other characters but to be its not really needed.

So you think this episode sucks aye?

  • This was miles better than All That Remains because of its lighter moments, revelations, for having introduced a strong antagonist, inclusion of character development, good illusion of choice and that finale. So no, I do not think it sucks.

  • I think it was one of the best episodes they have produced yet, and has raised the bar for all future episodes.

I'm sorry, but this was one of the best episodes EVER in my opinion.

    1. No Time Left(the feels)
    2. Starved For Help(New Problems)
    3. A House Divided(In General amazing)
    4. A New Day(Intro)
    5. Long Road Ahead(Death)
    6. All That Remains(Good, but just not AS good)
    7. Around Every Corner(Good, but just not AS good, and too long)

A House Divided is very good, it gives you new characters and old characters. Control less? You control two people's lives, if you want, they can either die or live. Nick and Alvin can both die, but the way you control the episode determines these characters fates. You DO get to look around in several places like the Lodge and the Station, you may not be able to have much interaction but characters get more development and that is good.

    I'd give it a 9.5/10.

If In Harms Way is in ANY WAY as good at A House Divided, I will be happy.

    My list:

    1.) No Time Left

    2.) Starved For Help

    3.) Long Road Ahead

4.) Around Every Corner / A House Divided

    5.) A New Day

    6.) 400 Days

    7.) All That Remains

  • it's not suck

  • I felt slightly disappointed after I finished it but I think that was just me being sad that I now have to wait for the next one. Enjoyed it while I played it though, got crazy quick.

  • Honestly… I'm going to call it… Best episode yet.

I'm really enjoying seeing things from Clem's perspective. People don't tell her everything so we don't know who to trust, who is hiding something. Also plot-wise I don't know where we're going. In season 1 it was pretty clear from the moment Lee met Clem how it was going to end up. Don't get me wrong I loved it but Lee getting bit then sacrificing himself to save Clem wasn't a surprise.

Season 2 is doing a great job of juggling a large cast, all of whom are interesting. I hope there's enough time to explore everyone's story but so far it's a great set up,

  • I agree this episode has no possible outcomes. other than the straight line plot you have no choice but to follow. I replayed several times and no matter what decision I (clementine) made the character's would end up saying or doing the same exact things. I couldn't change even one thing that happened except for clementine giving up or going to find Luke and Kenny. Even that didn't matter because 30 seconds later they were in the exact same situation.
I was so looking forward to this episode only to find a hurried piece of crap. If you people keep telling telltale this is "great", "raising the bar", "best yet" they will have no reason to actually improve the series. So instead of having more plot lines they are only going to have one. Might as well be watching a cartoon. You have no control in this last piece of crap.

  • Wow I would like to hear your argument for that statement. There's not 1 episode that I think was worse than this one.

Do you realize what game you're playing? It is an interactive story type game. Yes, it is interactive and your decisions can affect some aspect of it, but ultimately it is a story, and it's going to follow its plot no matter what. If that's what you don't like about it, then you just don't like this genre of game, nothing to do with this episode or this game in particular. Go play a different kind of game that you actually like.

  • I loved the first season. My fiancé was actually crying at the end of season one. I like this type of game. I just think the addition of more subplots or storylines would be great.
