Will there be a season 3?

After the reveal that TT is working on 2 new games, I'm wondering, will there be a season 3? I don't know if it's been confirmed or if this is definitely the last one, but is Game of Thrones set to replace Walking Dead?

  • It is confirmed that Kenny and Clementine will live the entire season (I think) so in my opinion that means that there will be a Season 3.

  • Hmmmmmmmmm. Well we know that season 3 is far away. First we have to finish season 2 and twau. The we get season one of tftb and got. Then we might get season 3 of twd

  • I reckon there will be a season 3 I just know it

Depending on how season 2 ends i would love to see a season 3 but i don't think we will see it untill late 2015 or early 2016 due to Game of Thrones and Borderlands

  • They're probably working on it right now. At least the writing and stuff.

  • Well, people also need to remember the fact that the game must respect the comics timeline. At the moment, they are very close to each other. Do I want them to make a season 3? Hell yes! But unless Kirkman decides to have a time skip in the comics, I really can't see it happening.

  • I hope so. The series is way too successful on many levels not to continue.

The season 2 announcement came out exactly one month after the release of Starved for Help and A House Divided is getting as much praise so i guess we'll have to wait. Now let's look at Wellington and the possibilities of another cliffhanger. Lots and lots of people are headed to Wellington, just with that you can tell it's only going to be another problematic place.

EDIT: IGN gave Starved for Help an 8.5 while they gave A House Divided a 9.5

  • Issue 127 of the comics are hinting a completely new cast of characters, this could also mean there might be another time skip in order to match Carl's age with the T.V series and the comics.

  • That's news for me,thanks! I took a break from the comics after issue 110 I believe.... Too many wtf moments. I mean, guys on horses pretending to be knights? That's a little too much in my opinion.

Anyway, this is indeed good news.

  • If season 2 does well they'd be crazy not to make a season 3. Until the game jumps the shark critically or commercially the pressure will be there to make more.

  • I hope Kirkman will never care about this TV series when making his great comic. And I hope there won't be a time skip in the comic. I wouldn't like it. Sure I will like anything xp

  • That's interesting! Didn't know. I would like a new season but probably with totally new story starting at the begginning of the apocalypse. Or maybe I will change my mind during that season but I think Clem's story is going to over.

  • It all depends on whether they decide to or not, I think it will go by how successful this season is and if there is a demand then probably unless they want to conclude it and end it on a high you never know, it's too early to say. I hope they make more and stay good, TWD is their best game so it will get special treatment.

  • TWD is not the same without Clementine.
