How Awesome is TTG with Timing the new episode and the TV series? {spoilers}

If you choose to save Nick you end up in a crappy shed that's filled with presumably homemade Whiskey. Nick offers Clementine a drink and you toast to Pete.

Meanwhile over on the Tv show Beth and Daryl go on a quest for Booze and end up in a crappy shack thats got homemade moonshine and Daryl offers Beth a drink. {presumably because the peach schnapps from earlier would be tasty and might lead to alcoholism and Moonshine would be so nasty that it would put Beth off of alcohol for good ...doesn't work though}

I found the timing to be impressive. I doubt AMC consults TTG about their plot. So it's probably a coincidence. But an impressive coincidence to me. If AMC does talk to TTG I hope they can get a game reference into the show eventually. But what do you think about the similarities?
