My CVV number is incorrect? I don't think so..

I'm trying to buy the PC version of The Walking Dead - Season 2 online with my Visa card, but it keeps being rejected - claims my CVV number is incorrect.

It's not incorrect. I have the card in front of me, it's current, and I have made sure there are no typing mistakes (several times now). This is the first and only website or physical store that has given me a problem with this card. Not sure if it's because I'm outside the US (I'm in Australia)?

Can someone at Telltale please take a look at this and let me know what to do? Thanks.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify if your CVV code is 3 numbers, or different? If our website is not allowing you to purchase the game, and you would like it particularly registered through Telltale, you can buy a Telltale Digital Download from Amazon.com or GreenManGaming.com, and they will give you an activation code that you can redeem on our website to activate it here. You can also purchase Season Two for Steam, and download and install it from there. Please note that if you have Season One save files, they will be able to be read regardless of where you purchase Season Two.

    Thanks for the quick reply Mike. Yes, my CVV code is a just a 3-digit number, showing on the back of my Visa card.

    In addition to the options you mentioned, I guess there's also PayPal.

    Or maybe I'll just wait until I see the game at one of the local game stores as I did with Season 1. Any idea as to when DVD's start shipping internationally?

    To answer your first suggestion, yes, you can also use PayPal on our website to purchase the game. My apologies I did not include that in my first response.

    DVDs of the game usually ship after the 5th episode releases, that way the whole game will be on the disc at the time of releasing the disc copy. I unfortunately do not have an official date when that will be at this time. Apologies for any difficulties that causes.

    I actually just tried the PayPal option and was blocked again because their "CVV verification system is not available at this time"!

    So much for e-commerce....

    I'll put this purchase on hold and wait until I see something tangible in a bricks-and-mortar store...whenever that may be.

    I'm such an idiot. It turns out the CVV number was correct, but I was mis-reading the expiry year of the card. All sorted now and the game was purchased and downloaded OK. My humble apologies for wasting your time Mike.
