I just wanna say that i fucking LOVE that kid,for real.He thinks he's all alone,and that everyone else thinks he's useless,and is just trying to prove himself,like Clem,only she is successful...I KNOW he is impulsive and has those outbursts,but that's just how he is,he's just lost too many people past his limit...I don't see why people have to hate on him.Yes,he killed Matthew,but only because he was trying to protect Clem and Luke.From a distance,a guy with his weapon drawn on your friends MAY seem dangerous,just saying.He didn't know,Matthew was a man with a weapon near his friends in the zombie apocalypse.And,as i said,he is too impulsive to just wait and see what happens.Wouldn't YOU shoot that kinda guy near your friends,a stranger?I just really LOVE Nick,i do,because i feel like he's what i'd be in the zombie apocalypse...He is lonely,feels useless,wants to be helpful but is always rejected,and Luke and the others hiding stuff from him isn't helping,i hate that...I just want to hug him and tell him he's not alone...
Yes,i KNOW he's a fictional character,but for me he isn't.That's the magic of Telltale.The bond between you and the characters is something real,and that's what makes them really special,that's what triggers THE FEELS...
I just wanted to know if anyone else feels that way.So yeah.

No, I don't have a crush, but I do care about his character as I've suffered similar loses as to what he is going through. And I don't want Nick to die either, so here's to hoping that Telltale will live up to their promise on making our choices matter more this season. Poor guy. He only needs some more time.
Nope. But I understand what you mean. I also love some characters from the game like Katjaa or Pete. But I don't like Nick.

i felt the same dude. actually i hated characters like him and be. To be honest, Nick is the ben of season 2. I'm an cold assholes in that point, but I let Ben fall and i never regret it. But after i gave Pete my promise that i will look after Nick...i really care about him. Glad that i managd to let him live. Thanks Walt, you were a great character too
I like him as a character, but he kinda reminds me of my 30 year old uncle who still lives with my grandparents...

Back on topic, I feel symphathetic towards Nick, sure. He's a good man, wants to protect his friends, but screws up greatly. It's also terrible that he is left alone (aside from his friends) in the group. Sad, really. As for having a crush on him, hell no. I don't have a crush on any characters whatsoever.
P.S: Why do you keep calling him kid (not just here, but everywhere else too)?
Because he seems young,and some people have taken to calling him "Ben 2.0",and he seems quite young,and Ben was called by Kenny a "stupid kid",so there you go.I dunno,it's just a sign of affection.I really love Nick,i hope he survives,if not to the end of the series,then at least a little more...
I have no trouble to argue with Nick, and say bad things about his decisions. I'm just honest with him. Of course he seemed pissed when I didn't back him up with that guy he shot, and told him he seemed nice. Then I clearly see Nick regrets that he was so fast on the trigger.
Beside, shooting from a distance? Nick is a terrible shooter, so the fact that he took that chance is quite scary. Still, he was clearly filled with regret for his actions, and wanted to confess. Beside, if Nick reminds Clementine of Ben, you have to remember that Ben was a good friend of her.
Still, if it goes like season 1... then at some point, all the people that marked as determinant will end up dead, but at a later point in the story.
Witch makes episode 2 of season 2 a very strange episode... since if you're actually able to have someone survive through the whole season, then it of course seem to matter more. Else this episode has already marked two people for dead. I don't really think that any other episodes from earlier has two people who can both be killed and both kills can be avoided.

And i know Ben was a good friend to Clem,never said he wasn't.I actually hope that Clem,Luke and Nick will all have a brother-sister relationship,and be like a little family...

Nick pissed me off big time with the Matthew thing but I started to warm up to him when you talk to him after and especially if you give him the watch. And I respect that he apologized to Clem in episode one and wanted to tell the truth if you show him the photo in episode two. He comes across as well-meaning and good at heart even if he's erratic and troublesome sometimes.
But as for the crush question, I'm gonna have to jump on the Luke train.
Yeah, but if you look closely... When they got Clemmy back at the house, he was kinda pissed when saw she wasn't bitten and got out of the room - then you see Luke following him, probably to tell him to go apologize to Clem.
So yeah.
I meant personality wise. He looks nothing like my uncle. -_- Nick is one of my favorite characters.
Huh, I actually forgot about that detail. Ah well, I still think Nick is an okay guy (and I did promise Pete to look after his unpredictable self) but that's just more fuel for the awesomeness of Luke.
Me too, I promised that to Pete. But didn't promise Sarah to be her friend. Told her that I might do something "unfriendly". And told her tht I warned her - at least she won't be disappointed or anything if I ever get put into that situation.
No crush here, but I think he's an awesome character. With Pete out of the way (sob) Nick is now my favorite Season 2 character.
I've liked him ever since Ep1 but i don't think i have a 'crush' on him. I really like the relationship with him and Luke though

that's what i thought of when Kenny said it, but I think he just meant it as a joke (plus Nick and Luke's reactions kinda said it all lol)

Same! I told her we just met and weren't friends and also warned her about future "unfriendliness." But then I did do the pinky swear so that may come back to bite me. It seemed like there was a lot of 'Sarah will remember that' in this episode, it's making me nervous, lol.
I think that's more because he realises he almost shot a person who wasn't even bit, and that he's pissed it wasn't like that with the person they took in who bit his mum. Not disappointment that Clem is alright or anything

I don't have a crush on him but I understand where he's coming from and sympathize with him a little bit. He means well, but unfortunately he's a loose cannon.
We've seen more of him in the last episode and I find him a funny realistic character, shame he's a determinant which well we all know what usually happens to them either way.
