I think Nate's actually a good person....a sort of good person. When ever he attacks someone, he is provoked. He attacks Eddie and Wyatt because apparently Eddie killed Nate's friend, he kills the old people in Russell's story because they shot at him. He might have killed the old people anyways had they not attacked him, I don't know, but he didn't kill Russell. d:
Nate was originally part of a larger group, but Eddie shot one of his friends while he was taking a shit because the guy spooked him. After that Nate was on his own.

It's going to be extremely difficult though, cuz there's just no appropriate way for Nate to make his appearance, though initially I was thinking of him standing on top of a tank that is lifted by two helicopters.
I'm almost sure he's in Eddie's group, the one that will appear in EP4.
He's too much of a popular character for Telltale to just discard him.
He's certainly too much of a wild card to be afraid and bossed around by Carver. He wouldn't put up with that.
Maybe Eddie managed to save his life somehow over the course of these two in-game years. Eddie is a good guy, I'm sure he'd give Nate a chance.
They worked out their differences, and now Nate is a loyal friend to him and sees things a bit differently. Nate has a strong sense of loyalty and friendship.
He'd still be the same ol' crazy Nate, just not as evil.
Imagine him joining the assault on Carver's community along with Eddie and Luke in EP4 and saving "his boy" Russel in the process? Haha

I'm going to go back to my old (not to taken too seriously) theory that Nate is Walter's brother and when he discovers someone killed his brother he's going to be looking for some payback.

Just yesterday i thought people forgot about awesome characters such as Nate. I was wrong.
Nate's going to show up in S2. He's too good of a character not to.
HOW he shows up remains to be seen.
Maybe he is leader of some another group . Possibly enemies with carver's group
Wait a minute...remember when Carver said at the end of the Ep3 preview? He said "A storm is coming..." he could possibly be referring to Nate!

But he's certainly not a normal person.
but nate strikes me as the lone wolf type, maybe a friend or two at most beside him
