WHERE THE F***K IS LUKE?! *and trust*

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

omg im so worried about Luke. So...where is he? At the end of the episode when everyone was taken..well where was he? Kenny came out but what i think is the Kenny and Luke made a plan and when Kenny went in, Luke waited for everyone to leave and is secretly following the group so he can hurt them and have a sneak attack on them. Or maybe he is bad...possibly did something bad in the past and hasn't completely gone over it. Also why did Carver tell Clementine something about not trusting the group and there's also a conversation with Kenny (if you sit with him) about trusting these people. What could this mean? Should we trust the new group...most importantly...Luke?

  • I had a feeling Carver was saying don't trust them to have Clementine maybe betray them or something, but I believe we can trust the group especially Luke, for now at least,as for Luke's whereabouts I have no idea where he could have went and why but I think he'll find a way to track them to Carver's settlement and free them or something.

  • My guess us that he is tracking Carver back to his camp in an attempt to free Clem and the others. Somehow. He never seemed to be the type to cut and run.

I think he is going to try to break them out, and only him, Kenny, Sarah, and the 400 days cast will make it out

    EDIT:And of course Clemmy

  • yeah I hope...but he wasn't in the "Next time on The Walking Dead" thing...but again they aren't right all the time

Nick and Alvin are determinant, so they WILL die at some point, Carver only wants the baby, I think he would probably kill her afterwards if she even survives the birth of her child, and he absolutely hates Carlos, I dont see why he wouldn't kill Carlos

Nah, they wouldn't kill Carlos Nick Rebecca and Alvin at once

  • Not all at the same time, but 4 people left the group (3 died, one left) in episode 3 last season.

Nah, they wouldn't kill Carlos Nick Rebecca and Alvin at once

  • Counting Sarita, that would make at the least 3 deaths (if Alvin and Nick are already dead)

  • Let's face facts over here, Luke's dead.

  • Kenny wasn't in the "Next time on The Walking Dead" and he still showed up. Also the person who knocks on the door in the preview and the actual episode were different. Never trust the preview.

  • well of course for the last "Next time on The Walking Dead" Telltale didn't want to spoil it for us but since Luke is already a season 2 character i thought i t would be different

  • Well if you went and looked for Kenny and Luke, Kenny says he told Luke to take a hike. Some people think Kenny killed Luke but tjats not logical. If he would've shot luke the shot would've rang out for miles and Kenny is not that stupid. Ans if hey would've gotten into a fight or something luke wouldn't have just taken it. I'm assuming that Kenny wanted to fight back at Carver and Luke said that it wasn't a good idea so Kent got mad (considering he has gotten mad a lot of times in this episode) and so far Luke is pretty much a main character so they couldn't just kill him off right away at least. I'm thinking he's just off somewhere else planning on wha to do. I'm sure he will be back in episode 3

There are a few theories regarding Luke's disappearance so far:

    1. Luke has done a runner and left his group at the hands of walkers/Carver.

    2. Luke fell out with Kenny, and was killed/incapacitated by him as a result.

    3. Luke left Kenny (thus the "take a hike" comment that Kenny told him) to leave Kenny and regroup, but ends up caught or killed by Carver's
      group off-screen.

    4. Luke is hiding from the attack and is currently tracking down Carver to save his group.

    1. Luke is halfway to Russia to gain trust of the Red Army in order to fight Carver's group

Well they didn't want to spoil Luke's disappearance. Telltale likes cliffhangers and speculations. Just like how we're speculating what happened to Luke. If we saw Luke in the trailer then everyone would either be like "I told you he was coming to save us" or "wow I was wrong about Luke, he is coming to save us." Telltale lets you decide what you think Luke would do, why he would do it, and if he will return in the way we want him to.

  • Luke is too big of a character to kill off screen, that much is true. He's alive.

  • so was Lee...but look what happened

  • That ownage is intensified considering you have Doug as you avatar.

Seems legit, proof or it didn't happen

  • For Mother Russia!

    * Luke is halfway to Russia to gain trust of the Red Army in order to fight Carver's group

  • yup, if only Doug was alive

    For Mother Russia!

  • Four is the most likely scenario. I don't see Telltale ditching Luke quite yet, at least not for something as insulting and ignominious as an off-screen death.

yup, if only Doug was alive

  • If he was, he woulda used the power of vodka to dodge the bullet

    O_O wait Doug's Russian?

  • They definetely didn't want to show because it would be a bit of a spoiler. Just like in The Wolf Among us when Snow White "died", even trough she was still alive and in most of the 2. episode they didn't show her to leave a cliffhanger.

I don't think Kenny killed him, but I'm not totally sure.

What bothers me is Kenny's quote when Carver caught everyone.

'He was whining about something, so I told him to take a hike!'

'Take a hike' in the middle of a walker attack?

It sounds like Kenny gave Luke a good pull so Luke would fall of a cliff and break his neck or something.

Edit: I totally forgot this, but I also don't like that creepy look on Kenny's face when Luke volunteers and how he insists that Sarita stays with the others (but granted, he probably really was worried about her)

  • It might be a plan Kenny and Luke came up with when they saw things were not going to end well at the ski lodge. Luke could've told Kenny to tell everyone he left them, and that Carver would probably buy that story because he doesn't think much of Luke. So now Luke is following the group back to Carver's base to rescue them. I hope my theory turns out to be true :)

  • That. is. the. most. terrifying. thought. ever.

  • Unless the story branches more

Nick and Alvin are determinant, so they WILL die at some point, Carver only wants the baby, I think he would probably kill her afterwards if

  • I reckon kenny probably shot him.

Kenny came out but what i think is the Kenny and Luke made a plan and when Kenny went in

That doesn't make any sense, kenny would have told clem about any plan. And kenny and luke had a little friction between them, so probably wouldn't have been able to make a plan without a argument anyway. (Maybe that's why looks not there, they argued over the best way to handle the situation)

  • I reckon kenny tried to kill him and he's injured, but to kenny's knowledge - dead. And it will all escalate in the next episode. maybe looks saves every one but chooses to leave kenny behind. Who knows.

But Lee was on screen and damn sad If they killed Luke off screen, it wouldn't be emotional at all

  • Nope.
