Carver's Past?

Just curious of what you guys think Carver did before the apocalypse. My bet is on some type of military strategist if that makes sense. It would explain how he would get machine guns, track the group, and be the leader of a large amount of people. Plus Carlos said he was a "very smart man", so there's that. Thoughts?

    Kids entertainer, maybe a clown or a magician. After 30 years of it he was looking forward to retirement, then the apocalypse hit and he just went stone cold psycho.
