This is usually caused by an extra prefs.prop file somewhere on your computer. I have looked over your support tool information, and cannot find an extra prefs.prop file. Please do a search on your computer for prefs.prop, and if you find a second file not in the /Application Support/Telltale Games/The Walking Dead/ folder, please rename it to prefs.prop.bak to disable it, and then start the game and your saves should be restored.
Hi. I have a trouble with season 1.
Since a couple of days when I try to start the second chapter the game just show me a black screen (wi… moreth an axe in left side) and thats all.
This game worked perfectly but now I don't understand why doesn't work.

Had the same problem with the dll and windows 8. Installing whis form Microsoft solved the problem
