Does anyone think **** and ***** will die?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

In A House Divided, as I'm sure many of you are aware Nick and Alvin can bite the dust, but you can also save them, in my playthrough I saved both and I'm worried they'll die soon, if not next episode. As we've seen with Carley/Doug and Dropping/Saving Ben the Determined characters always die soon after saving them. Do you think Nick and Alvin will die soon? Or will Telltale step up their game and keep them a bit longer? Or even make multiple ways characters in the group can die, and in Episode 5 you can complete the game with everyone alive/some people/alone?

  • Telltale did say more story branching, so this might mean that Nick might live till episode 4, while Alvin dies in Episode 3 or something. I think this means that practically every group member's deaths (aside from plot development deaths like Pete) will be based on choices you've already made. So no one really has a 'set death'

  • I hope that's the case. Telltale might pull the shock factor card like they did with Omid, but these characters have so much potential, especially Nick who out of the Cabin group has the most character development and backstory e.g. Alcoholic father, killed his mum and Pete's death etc and I like the underdog screw-up trying to prove himself theme he has going on.

  • Yea, i do. I created a similar topic cause i afraid that this can happen...

  • In the preview of episode 3, if you save Alvin you can see him strapped to a chair after what appears to be a hard beating. I think Alvin will probably be beaten to death by Carver in order to eliminate the last obstacle between him and Rebecca (or so Carver thinks, it's pretty obvious now he's kind of delusional about Rebecca).
For Nick, I don't know. I think he'll play as the Ben of Season two, so i guess he'll stick around longer than Alvin. Maybe he'll sacrifice himself later in order to save someone else, like Pete did (if you saved with him at the end of episode 1)

  • Yeah I'm kind of worried about Alvin, I do have the feeling Carver will kill him to get him out of the way and revenge for 'George' who I'm sure we'll find out more about. But maybe Alvin can escape, I don't know. I hope Nick isn't the Ben of season 2, he actually knows how to protect himself and the group and will admit to making mistakes and apologises. In the moment, I was shocked he killed Matthew but I understand why he did it and I don't blame him for it, he was protecting Clem and Luke. In my playthrough, Luke and Nick have sort of become brotherly and protective of Clem, so I hope Nick actually has some significance to the Season.
