That's one of the things I don't like about Kenny. Me helping out a friend? Giving up. Him throwing away his gun because Sarita's next to be executed? Not giving up at all.

That came out a bit wrong. I did not intend to outright imply that it was not "giving up" so to speak, it indeed was actually an act of giving up.
Kenny's reaction seemed awfully bitter about it in a way... His reasons for snapping about it could possibly be you choosing your new group over him (for the second time, depending on your table choice). Alternatively, on a less cynical and possessive scale, he could just hold a view like that, like his view on suicide.

If you decided to have a heart and help your buddy Carlos out, you "gave up" in his perspective.
Yes, you did give up and surrender. Clementine and Alvin even say that...
but giving up, saves Alvin

You can convince Kenny not to shoot the second time if you're out with him and the Next Time doesn't have him give you the "just give up" line.
Kenny gave up too. I think he's talking about Luke, maybe he didn't kill Luke. >.>
Yes that's what's irritating about Kenny, he can't be objective about the world...

It's just Kenny being Kenny
But maybe he was talking about Luke.
Did you surrender during the conflict or sneak off to find Kenny? I think surrendering is what triggers that dialog.
Luke runner in the mist.
I'm pretty sure that line will not be in the final version of episode 3,it's just a pre-development thing.
And he isn't talking about Clem giving up, he's talking about the whole group giving up
