Would any more returning characters from S1 be a bad idea?
Okay...so we've got Kenny back. It remains to be seen how long he'll stick around (although I'm praying it's all the way through to episode 5), but would any additional returnees from S1 result in overkill? We still need to find out what happened to Christa, after all. But what about Lilly? Or Vernon?
The new characters need as much room to breathe as the old characters, and introducing too many throwbacks from S1 could lead to "Spider-Man 3 syndrome", where the story is having to juggle too many elements to focus on any one plot thread.

Lily is possible, but highly unlikely. Vernon is next to impossible in my opinion, I guess Christa will suffice. And we still have the characters from 400 days which according to Telltale, they'll have a role to play this season. So I think it's safe to say there are already a little too many elements.
I think only Christa will show up (alive or dead...) and the 400 days charatchers that went with Tavia (also Eddie I'm guessing from teh slides)...
And some of the 400 days charatchers that went with Tavia may really be on Carver's side so they will not join... In my gameplay Wyatt, Shell (and becca) and Bonnia went with Tavia, I don't know wich of them would be with Carver and wich would be on your side
I guess that everyone that was important will eventually come back.
With Kenny alive, not returning Lilly to the series would be a wasted oportunity.
Molly's hook was at a wall in the Episode 3 preview, so....
And of course, we still need to see Christa
Well, Christa of course needs to return.
But now with Kenny back, reintroducing Lilly would be interesting. Given the history between them, I think seeing how the new characters react to their bickering would be interesting, especially if Lilly is part of Carver's community and basically acts as their jailor. I said it before, but the dynamic between Kenny and Lilly if Lilly were to have all the power would be something nice to see. Other than that, no more Season 1 characters should come back, I think. Three is enough.
Depends... Straight from season 1 only Lily might return but it's very very unlikely.

I know that. But some people still use the argument he was simply "lost" rather than dead.
Excluding 400 days characters, I'm gonna have to say that any more season one characters besides Christa, Kenny, and Clem would be too much.
I'm always for them bringing back characters from the previous season. The only thing I want from the next episode is the chance to kill Bonnie's bitch ass. I've hated her since 400 days.
They will all show up, depending on who went to the camp (which is probably Carver's) will probably depend on how much they are trusted, as Bonnie goes regardless
