Posters!

I made this thread a year or so ago, but I changed my mind and edited it before anyone had the chance to reply. Here I am making the thread again. Obviously.

What posters/pictures do you have up around your room/house? Looking around me, some of the stuff I have up is: Woo! Pictures soon, hopefully. You?

    umm.....bare walls?

I can't cope with bare walls. I need stuff to liven the place up!

I have one poster, and it was given to me soon after I enjoyed Dark Knight so much. It's the "Why So Serious?" movie poster.

I just have some band posters

I only have a DBZ poster I won at a fair around three or four years ago.
EDIT: I forgot I also have a print by some pop artist known as steez teez.
  • edited August 2008
Right now, mostly the Sam & Max prints, and a few prints by Scott Campbell.

I also have one print I bought from a lady at APE a couple of years ago, and a painting by Graham Annable.

There's also a big box of stuff under my bed that's waiting to be framed. I can only afford so much matting/framing at once :)
  • edited August 2008
Yeah I have the same problem. There are a number of prints that remain stored in my closet pending such a time when I've got money to throw at proper framing. It's never seemed to stop me from buying posters though.

On my door: Season 1 Sam and Max print

On my walls: a Scott Campbell print of "Cutest Thing Ever", Leon S Kennedy (artwork that was featured in Resident Evil 3, not 2), an old Final Fantasy 7 artwork wallscroll, a Legend of Zelda Link and Epona wallscroll, and 3 assorted Astro Boy miniposters. ^_^

I use to have my Sonic 2 and ICO posters up, but switched them out with two that are currently hung.

I have two prints on my walls. One is "A Friend In Need", also known as the dogs playing poker. The other is my prize possession, a print of "Silencing the Guns" by James Dietz, which is signed by four members of Easy Company, made famous in Band of Brothers.

I've got some promotional art from various booths at last year's APE up by my computer, as well as some old postcards from Idle Thumbs. The only other art I have up is this awesome print by Scott Campbell, framed above a bookshelf. I had a Sam & Max print up by my computer but it fell down. True story.

I always wanted that Scott Campbell ninjas poster but couldn't afford it. I bet it looks awesome. I might get the t-shirt, though.

    On zee wall:
    Springfield USA poster
    Ocarina of Time poster
    Star Wars Episode Two poster

I'll update this later with more....

there was no leon in re3...only some guy named carlos. or did i miss something?
Plus this one on my door:
ahh, i used to have that one too, the smaller version though. it was hanging in the place i used to live during my internship. the strange thing about this poster is that a lot of women seem to like it...instead of lecturing you about how much of a pathetic male fantasy this is.
anyway, i totally need to get this fate of atlantis poster, the laserschwert-edition, of course. i had one of these back in the day, when indy4 was released, but it had a huge logo from some game magazine in the corner and was folded, because it came with said magazine.

    so, the posters i have...
...i have the sam & max street print on the wall, the surfin' print is still waiting to be framed and the season two print is already ordered.
then i have a poster from matrix reloaded on my door, the one with a close-up of trinity's face. didn't like the movie to much, but that poster is gorgeous.
then i have a poster from taxi driver and a framed print from a cover of the manga ghost in the shell. that's about it, the other walls are lined with shelves to put my useless stuff in..

Yeah, this one is rather big... covers almost the entire door. And yes, most women tell me as well that they like it... but I guess it's just the nature of the female body (or two of them) to look a lot more erotic than having two guys making out (even if they were good looking, I guess). At least that's what most of my female friends insist on... the guys of course agree ;)

But do you remember the epilogue files after the game? There were about 8 of them. You could get Leon's after beating the game 4 times. They had a background picture and a small spill on what that certain character did during the events of RE3.

BUT, that's not the picture I have. ^^; Apparently, when Capcom drew up some art for RE3 without the intention of using it in the game (or perhaps it is some dojinshi art?). This is the picture I have:

    You're SO mean :p

How about providing it as a high-res download, once the limited edition prints are all sold? :D

    LOL. Like print-resolution?!
  • edited August 2008
i think, print-resolution is the only resolution for laserschwert....he's sort of the master of big pictures.

    So want.

It's nothing special, you can probably get one just like it at any place that sells that sort of poster.

Thinking about it I probably could, but having Dan Radcliffe on my HP posters are more tempting.
