The sudden revelation that destroys...(S2 EP2 spoiler, EP3 speculation)
Carver. The sudden revelation that would destroy Carver.
I know that it is heavily implied that Rebecca's baby is also Carver's baby. And that that is probably what telltale are going with.
But what if, just what if in actuality, opposite to how everyone thinks/fears, it is Alvin's baby? and it is found out as such late in episode 3. It's a far fetched groundless speculation mind you and it's very improbable that it's what telltale has in mind. But still, just what if telltale actually pulls that move on us?(and how would they go about doing so?)

Well it may be a longshot, but if it really was Alvin's kid...I believe Carver would just go bezerk and maybe kill Rebecca and take the kid as his own, or maybe hit Bec, then kill the child. Seems cold but that's how Carver is.
This is what I'm going with. Expect the unexpected and all that.
In that case Carver would probably go batshit insane and probably kill everything in the room, before ordering the execution of his 'prisoners'.
Knowing Carver, I think he would snap and kill Rebecca and pretty much, try to kill everybody.

This could be awesome. Let's say Carver has had a dominant hand throughout most of the episode. Then towards the end, you deliver Rebecca's baby. When it's born, it is almost unmistakably Alvin's. The one thing that Carver thought was 100% certainly his actually isn't. He loose his calm, collect demeanor and starts overreacting. This moment of a mental breakdown is the chance for you to take everything you have learned and overthrow Carver.
Don't want to sound stupid but how would they notice who's baby is it?
Well, guess we'll just have to wait and see if it's a black or white baby.
Alvin is black and Carver is white so it would be noticeable.
I guess Carver would probably kill Alvin (I have a strong feeling that he´s going to die anyway). Every character that you choose to save in season 1 endeed dying anyway -_- (Carley, Ben, Larry, Hershel´s son, etc)
They ask the zombies to analyze the DNA of each man.
I figure he'll still claim the child as his. Actually, I wouldn't even be surprised if he has some sort of rule where any child in his settlement is technically his by virtue of everyone being "family" or some such (which would also work to explain Carlos' beef with hiim). I also have a feeling he might be too sweet on Rebecca to just kill her like that but we'll see.
