Walk for 5 days straight at the apocalypse?

So apparently the group and Clem walked for 5 days to the mountains....I mean how? They did stop? I'm sure there weren't any houses or anything along th way but they couldn't sleep outside...not a big deal but just to put it out there

    They roughed it under the stars, I believe at least Alivin had a sleeping bag. For the rest of the sleeping bags, maybe Clem kept them in a pair of Lee's magical storage pants.

    Not like its impossible to sleep outdoors, just have someone on watch at all times
