"Duck was his son" Choice?

edited March 2014 in The Walking Dead

I've been looking all over the Youtube walkthroughs and all I see are people choosing "Leave him alone, Luke" or "Kenny..." But what would happen if Clementine told Luke and Nick that Duck was Kenny's son who died a while ago?

Would Nick and Luke feel bad for Kenny?

  • Yes, Luke's face changes immediately to concern/sadness and he looks sympathetically towards Kenny.

I tried that option in one of my other playthroughs, and the only difference, from what I remember, is that Luke gives a sad look of understanding. His demeanor changes from aggression to sympathy towards Kenny. Although I didn't get a "(?) They will remember that" message, so I'm not too sure if it matters or not.

I think it matters. You most likely got the (?) because their question wasn't answered so they were going to find out latter. Which isn't fair considering nobody would tell Clem about Carver until he showed up. I chose the "Duck was his son" option on my first play through and its still.my favorite. Not telling them would cause suspicion that Kenny was hidding something.
