False copyright claim on my youtube video.

I made a playthrough of the walking dead season 1. (unfinished). Recently; Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. Placed a Copyright claim on my video for the audio track: "ポルノグラフィティ-Winding Road(short ver.)" Which is not even in the video The video is unpopular, and only has six views. The claim states the track plays at 56:01. My entire video, with my commentary, is completely muted. Here is a link to the video. What do I do? I mostly make the videos for family viewing.

  • I really doubt they'll take it down. I think its just if your making money off it.

  • That's YouTube for ya, taking people's jobs away and breaking their own claim of fair use.

And to think I was working on starting a career on it.

  • I am not monetizing my videos. They are for family viewing, they aren't taking it down, but they muted the whole damn thing.

All my favorite reviewers this happened to basically claim goes automatically when use there stuff and actually caused outrage for companies as everyone though was them. New thing set up by youtube for legal reasons to protect them or business thing or something

  • Well, I disputed the claim stating that it was a mistake with the automatic system.

  • The issue is resolved. Glad I didn't have to bump thi- Oh. Oops.

  • I have same copyright claim. I delete my video, and reupload, no problem... :D

  • They recently implemented an automated system. A lot of LPers were complaining about it because it slapped unfair copyright claims on Fair Use material. Welcome to the new Youtube.
