Stupid behavior in TWD
I love this game but occasionally one of the characters says or does something so implausibly dumb that it breaks the spell a bit for me.
- Carley doesn't know radios need batteries or which way round batteries go.
- Mark thinks there will be anything edible remaining if he shoots a crow with a rifle.
- Ben sees an axe in a door handle and thinks "I'll just take that" (I mean I know Ben is an idiot but really?)
- Clementine leaves her gun sitting on a washstand.
- After 16 months alone in the wilderness Christa thinks Clementine doesn't know how to build a fire.
Anyone got any more?

6.a Doctor who doesnt know the diffrence of a walker bite and a dog bite
7.A group who lived like 2 years in a ZA and they still doesnt know how to handle a "possible" bite victim
8.the whole cabin group aka the "the little girl have to do the whole work"-group
In fairness, I think they probably did the "right" thing with a possible bite victim – lock it up and see if it turns. They could have been a bit more sympathetic and at least cleaned up the wound, though.
What gets me is that they put a little girl with an obvious dog bite (that bite did not look like it came from a human mouth) in a shed overnight, without cleaning or binding her wound. Then, they ask her to do all this legwork for them? Jerks, in my opinion. They treated her like crap and left her to die and then they ask her to do the dangerous jobs? I know a lot of people here like them, but I'm having a hard time warming to them, personally. I can't imagine treating a child in such a way. Maybe it's because I have younger siblings or something, but it's very strange for me. I understand that it would be pretty boring to play as Clementine if she wasn't doing some dangerous jobs, so that alone doesn't bother me. I just don't like that they were so cruel to her at the start and now they expect her to risk her neck to feed them, to feed the very woman who wanted to throw her back out into the woods to die (Rebecca). I hope I start to like them next episode. I'm missing the old group from Season 1 big-time right now.
Or Carley not stomping that zombie's head in S1E1. If you save Doug, she just keeps reaching out for her unreachable bag instead of kicking/stomping/punching the weak walker at her foot.
Well they dont have to lock her in the fucking shed? You can watch her in the house and cleaned her wounds. No damnit it wasnt right. I mean you dont turn in a second and even IF i think 4 grown men can take a little girl. That "Shed-thing" was one of the stupidest ideas I've ever saw in twd. I understand that you have to be careful but that was just stupid and I started to hate the group...I have forgiven them...but still
I've got one that's less frustrating and more funny. The part where Lee slips and falls on the blood in Clem's kitchen. Then, two minutes later he does it again when Sandra attacks him. It's pretty ridiculous. Not to mention, that blood would have been coagulated by then, either sticky or completely dry. Though it never fails to make me laugh. They make Lee out to be a pretty clumsy guy at the beginning of that episode.
No it wasn't right but it wasn't reality breaking dumb. I can believe people are callous enough to do that.
exactly xD
Kenny: "Dammit we've gotta shut it down"
Carlos: "Right Nick help me get the guns"
Sarita: "GUNS?!?"
..... Yes Sarita Guns may be a good idea....... It's weird because she is seen shooting later so she clearly has no problem with them
Mine was "How do we turn this wind turbine off?" "Lets let the 11 year old do it!".
Lee crawling away from the officer in A New Day. That was fucking foolish, I was nearly surprised at that point when he actually got up and survived. He could of just got up and ran to a safe distance, not fucking crawl along with the fucking crawler. Jesus Christ Lee, you're an awesome character but that's gotta be one of your most foolish mistakes.
More like let her do everything....
I know as the protagonist we need to be there in the thick of it but really. Alvin or Carlos should be doing half the stuff their making her do.
Don't you remember that Lee broke his leg maybe he could have tried too get up but he didn't.
Clementine at the windmill: "I can do it! "
Carlos: "Okay."
His leg was mangled to hell, he barely stumbles out of those woods alive and is limping until Herschel cleans the wound.
a group scared out of their minds of Carver settling down in a cabin not far from his camp.
Mark giving his gun to Carley. The woman who never leaves home without her pistol.
Haha, I laughed so hard during that scene. I was like: "Really? FUCKING REALLY GUYS?"
what about season 1 episode 2 when Lee didn't notice Clem's hat was missing for 3 days? and number 4 is sounds like something I would do.
Seriously, why do they let the 11 year old handle the wind turbine just because she says, "I can do it." ._.
Not quite so stupid actually.
"Hey, this thing is really loud!"
"Yeah, let's go get some guns and add to the ruckus!"
Absolute geniuses, the lot of them. This just goes back to what someone else once mentioned about the lack of melee weaponry among the cast. But I realize this kind of plot induced stupidity is part of what comes with the genre.
From S1 outside the drugstore after Lee kills his brother and gets the keys:
Doug: "Oh my God!"
(Zombies hear Doug's voice and turn around towards them)
(Facepalm)
