Teaching Sarah how to shoot

Am I the only one who didn't get that scene? I tried various dialog options but it always goes from taking a picture of her to Carver. Is it because I didn't do the pinky swear in episode 1?

    I hear that in order to get the scene you have to do the pinky swear. I didn't in my first playthrough, but I'm going to test it in another to be sure.

    I take it you also did the 'You should know what's
    going on' option?

    I took the picture, said 'You should know what's going on' and then 'Pete's dead' and got the gun scene.

    I think it probably is the pinky swear thing, though.

    I did the pinky swear, took her picture, told her "They went fishing", and got the "Teach me how to shoot" option.

    Its only if you pinkie swear her.

    She does something really weird if you dont say anything to her when shes asks you for help on how to shoot

    "You should know what's going on" seems to be the trigger. You choose to be honest with her and she'll let you in on her little secret. I never did the pinky promise either.

    Edit: Taking what Gorthaur said into consideration, could it be that people who pinky swear are able to get away with lying to Sarah? Because I'm pretty sure she didn't buy the "went fishing" option for me.
