Did Sarah Make A Reference?

In episode 2 of season 2, you can get a scene with Sarah to teach her how to use a gun. If you stay silent ("...") then she will take the gun and point it at her head. A girl pointing a gun at her head. Where have we seen this image before? How about a specific song that was posted several times on this forum? A song that ties in with the Kenny confirmed for season 2 gif, Pendulum - Blood sugar.

What do you guys think? Possible reference?

  • I think it was just an easter egg. I mean even though Sarah is a little odd her doing that is just really out of place, its one of those moments no one would ever really pick to be silent

  • Well, that song pretty much IS Kenny's theme now, so I wouldn't be surprised if they slipped that little bit in because of it.

Umm...I think that was just meant to represent Sarah's naivety.

Also, there is a danger of reading too much into things. Like, you could also say 'oh she's hinting at the girl in episode 1 of season 1 who kills herself with a gun to the head!'

I mean, it's a nice thought...kind of, but almost certainly not accurate.

Also, I don't see why Telltale would reference a song from these forums that was actually posted only like 4 times.

  • Alright, you got me there. Good argument.

  • Blood Sugar for Season 2 ending credits!

  • You're a genius!!!

  • The song in question:

    Blood sugar

  • Why would a game about clementine have Kenny's theme tune in the credits?

  • What if it's forshadowing, dare I suggest it? What if it's kind of telling us that something's going to happen and Sarah will ether commit suicide or die that way?

  • Maybe because he could be the only one to survive until the end of episode 5 alongside Clem?

I don't know... Blood Sugar as Ending credits or part of ending credits sounds fun

  • I suppose, but I'm not sure it would really fit the tone of the walking dead that well, nor that of what we know about Episode 5

  • Yeah, deppends on the ending or endings.

Well, it would fit and ending with pizza and icecream....

  • Ending with pizza and ice cream would mean that in half of all playthroughs playing blood sugar would make no sense whatsoever :p

Unless they had 2 different credit songs....but until Telltale recognise the blood sugar thing, I wouldn't hold my breath :p

Also, I'm hoping Telltale with continue the credit song trend of 'In the x' that we've had this season :)

I think it's possible, after seeing that Alvin references our love for the juice box. But I'd be more convinced if TellTale made Kenny say something about blood sugar at some point, or maybe a pendulum...

    Please, TellTale? [sad eyes]

  • I didn't appreciate Sarah doing that, especially after what happens to katjaa.

    She couldn't have known, though.

  • You fools. It clearly was a Persona 3 reference. She was trying to summon her persona.

  • Dat Haruhi, though.
