Did we learn enough about these characters?

After playing season one (multiple times), and playing through "a house divided", there are a few characters that I feel we never really got to know in the capacity that we could have. These characters include

Doug, Mark, Chuck, Jolene, Campman (stranger), and Uncle Pete.

Anyone else agree? Did I leave anyone out, or wrongly include anyone?

    Clem's parents Ed and Diana. Would have loved to know more about them and their family history with Clem before the apocalypse.

    i would have like to get to know Matthew and Walter more.

    I agree. Also, more about Lee's wife and the senator would have been cool

    I thought about that, but I think the lack of knowledge about Matthew is what made his death so suspenseful after the speculation about him belonging to the ski lodge group
